Although it will seem short for most players, the title manages to shine thanks to its very cartoonish artistic direction as well as its crazy, characteristic humor.

With its improved visuals, polished gameplay and overall fun vibe, Destroy All Humans is a decent remake. Although it sometimes feels old and awkward, especially when it comes to stealth mechanism and upgrade system, but THQ Nordic has done a very good job in bringing 2005 memories back. Destroy All Humans surely deserves attention.

It should have taken fifteen years, but the remake of Destroy All Humans! has finally appeared. Rudy left for Roswell and went on a murder trail.

As I've always been an advocate for imagination over mechanical perfection, Destroy All Humans! is something that works for me. Perhaps it isn't the most polished or modern game of 2020, but it's definitely one that I'll keep coming back to, and it's absolutely the best remake to come out of THQ Nordic yet.

Destroy All Humans! was never trying to be a masterpiece back on PS2 and it still isn't one now, however it is a fantastic remake and if you are a fan of the old game I don't see why you wouldn't love this. People have begged for a return to this franchise but I'm not sure a remake was the way to do it; I truly hope they reboot this franchise for newer consoles.

Destroy All Humans! keeps the best parts of its 2005 game in mind while rebooting the series with a short, but engaging story and addictive alien destruction.

All in all, Destroy All Humans! is a competent remake featuring revamped visuals and a unique premise that will surprise newcomers. The only thing holding this remake down though is boring missions and outdated gameplay mechanics.

Despite these issues, Destroy All Humans! keeps its charm and unique appeal. If you can overlook the obsolete mechanics and level design, the adventures of Crypto are actually fun. Thanks to the budget-friendly price tag, the game can be recommended to those who finished games like Maneater and are looking to a new dose of mayhem.

If you are looking for a hyper realistic shooter, look somewhere else but if you are looking for a fun ride that is a fun page out of not that long ago gaming history, Destroy All Humans is blast.

Destroy All Humans! Is still a fun game in 2020. With the quality of life improvements and updated visuals it passes as a game that could have been released today, just not a showcase piece. I loved these types of B-tier titles last generation and am glad to see them making a somewhat return to prominence. Now if we could only get a new title in the series of the same quality I would be down with a next-gen version of Crypto’s shenanigans. Just forget that Big Will Unleashed ever existed and we will be just fine.

This fantastic remake is a perfect occasion for new players to finally experience Crypto’s adventures on Earth. It is still as funny and playable as the original, but now with some stunning visuals (unless we are talking about the pedestrian models).

Destroy All Humans! is a game that serves up high energy 1950s alien invasion realness. For me it ticked all the right boxes – fun, imaginative storyline, freedom to play the game in different ways and satirical humor. Throw in a good helping of 1950s architecture and culture, and this gaymer girl couldn’t help but love every second of this crazy space ride.

If nothing else, jumping in his saucer and decimating an entire town can be quite cathartic. Or is that just me?

The game does show its age in some of the mission design and the audio but improvements to the controls and graphics have made this far better than the original game ever was. Now when can we see a brand-new entry?

Destroy All Humans has been brought forward into 2020 with a new remake, but it still struggles to shake its antiquated design.

If you’ve yet to experience Crypto’s origins story, there’s no better time than the present to embark on this anal-probing, body-snatching quest for revenge.

Destroy All Humans! is yet another game to add to THQ Nordic‘s pile of brilliant remakes and remasters. The humour may be crude but the presentation is very polished, with a number of mechanics and abilities upgraded and expanded upon rather than simply being a 1:1 remake. If you’re not having fun shoving your probe in everyone’s bottom, you’ll be letting out a maniacal laugh as you tear cities and country buildings to the ground. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the challenges but there’s enough content in this faithful remake to keep you entertained for at least 15+ hours. Great for both fans of the original (with its new content) and newcomers to the franchise.
