1-2-Switch Reviews
1-2 - Switch isn’t worth it. It’s not fun and offers very little content. This game should have came bundled with the Nintendo Switch. Releasing this game alone doesn’t make any sense.
Between its overacted intro cinematics, its casting of uninteresting games on the long term and it's high retail price, 1-2 Switch has everything to remain in video game history, but not in the way Nintendo might have hoped. If you haven't bought the infamous compilation, we strongly advise you not to. The manufacturer gives the impression to have tailored this game only to the -sometimes peculiar- japanese tastes, to the point of neglecting the gamers from the rest of the world. We're now making our way back to Zelda so we can forever forget the few hours we had with 1-2 Switch.

You should not pay for it and even as a pack-in title it would see little to no use after trying it once. It’s time to 1, 2 Switch up your game Nintendo.
There is no good reason to pay 50 U.S Dollars for a game that is pretty weak in gameplay and content.

The number and variety of the games offered ensures at least a couple of hours of gameplay. This is a game that you'll use to show off the Switch to your friends, but the simplicity and general inaccuracy of the games and its lack of character limit its appeal and longevity.

Good for one evening of outlandish fun, but not one you'll come back to.
Outside of a few interesting ideas and some cool demonstrations of the Joy-Con controllers' HD rumble capabilities, 1-2 Switch's shallow collection of minigames has little to offer. The bizarre actors of the cringe-inducing live-action video demonstrations looked like they were having fun, but I certainly wasn't.
Best enjoyed with alcohol.
More like 1-2-Snore
As one of the first-party launch games for the Nintendo Switch, 1-2-Switch has its high points but ultimately falls short of being anything but a mildly entertaining party game.
If you want to know every little thing of which your Joy-Cons are capable, this will do it. Just don't expect to have much fun in the process
1-2-Switch belongs in a mall kiosk with a 10-minute play limit – though most potential customers would probably walk away empty-handed long before then
1-2 Switch fails in its primary goal: show how fun can be a Switch party game. There's literally no reason to buy a game that you shouldn't download even if it was free.

I'd have had no hesitation in recommending 1-2-Switch if it were included with the Switch or maybe $20 max, but as it stands it is far too expensive for the dash of entertainment it provides. 1-2-Switch is a good distraction for parties with people who don't game much, or those looking for something a little different than Cards Against Humanity for the millionth time. Otherwise, wait for a deep price drop.
"Fun for one evening."

Is 1-2 Switch a good game? Yes it is, but that doesn't mean it's a good game that's worth the [the price tag].
The misfortune here for Nintendo EAD is that party games need to be accessible and appealing to a mass audience, but 1-2-Switch settles for a very specific demographic and all but alienates the rest. For that reason, it's not a purchase I would recommend; it would have been better as a "free" pack in so that people would get the chance to try it for themselves before deciding on whether it had any long-term longevity for them.
1-2-Switch is more of a tech demo.
There is fun to be had, but in short bursts, and you'll play it every time you want to show the system off to someone new to Switch, but this is a shallow game, with a few fun minigames, and some cool tech.
A proof of concept more than a game itself.
