Regardless it was a bittersweet journey through Gladio’s thoughts and emotions. If this sort of story telling is being done with the rest of our budding king's entourage then I’d more than welcome it, whilst secretly wishing for more.

Final Fantasy 15 Episode Gladiolus is a short and decent story expansion that brings an engaging new combat system. The same can’t be said for its story as it brings nothing new to the table.

Ultimately, unless you’re a die hard fan of Final Fantasy 15 who is hungry for more, I cant really recommend this DLC. Its one of the worst examples of content for money I’ve had the displeasure of experiencing.

Episode Gladio is a good start for Final Fantasy XV’s planned DLC. While Cor and Gilgamesh are great to see, and the changed gameplay is interesting, the dungeon and overall story are somewhat bland.

The bland setting, the slow, and poorly considered combat, and some really poor musical decisions mean that Episode Gladiolus doesn’t come close to reaching the heights of the main game, and that’s a shame given that it has an interesting plot, and it’s experimenting with ideas in the Score Attack mode.

Overall, Episode Gladiolus is well worth picking up. It’s a little on the short side, but playing as Gladio is an absolute joy and the extras help give it some re-playability. I will definitely be sinking a bit more time on it over the next few days and I can’t wait for Episode Prompto in June.

If you're not bothered about extra loot or costumes, then Episode Gladiolus might not be that worthwhile. But if you're a fan who was invested in Final Fantasy XV's main story, finding out what happened to Gladiolus and learning where he got his scar from is a very welcome addition.

Episode Gladiolus might be short in length but it incorporates some nice gameplay mechanics and since the price isn't overly expensive, if you are starving for more Final Fantasy XV, you can enjoy your time with this DLC while also unlocking new costume and weapon for Gladiolus in the main game.

The Gladiolus DLC is short, linear, but its still fun and has a good gameplay, much more brutal and based on the strength of the character. For the price of the DLC, it's a good entertainment for those who completed the main game, but don't expect anything too deep or fundamental to the main quest.

A somewhat enjoyable addition, but one that is neither essential nor adds much to the game. Recommended only for those that have finished the game and are still hungry for more.

Score Attack hammers home how straightforward and bland the dungeon design is.

A lot of folks have been complaining about just how small of an experience Episode Gladio is and I’m inclined to agree with their frustration, at least partly. This episode could have been so much better, but what is presented is a fun way to spend an evening.

Episode Gladiolus is worth checking out for its rugged action and blood-pumping music, though its plot points really should've been part of Final Fantasy XV in the first place.

The foundation of Episode Gladiolus is excellent, which is why it's disappointing when the adventure comes to an end after less than an hour (not including cutscenes).

Episode Gladiolus its a really good and enjoyable DLC. The only big flaw it has resides, once again, in its camera which suffers from the same mistakes of the core game. Aside from that (and even with the fact of its linear level design) its one episode fans will enjoy and good excuse to come back to the game.

Episode Gladiolus is a good addition to FFXV, but it will not be remembered forever.

Episode Gladio is a problematic DLC, too short, linear and easy to complete. Gladio's adventure shows all the plot holes of Final Fantasy XV and isn't worth its price.

It's worth buying only if you're of the most devoted fans of Hajime Tabata's work.

For its asking price, Episode Gladiolus is a decent little distraction, but a distinct lack of substance keeps it from being an essential addition to Final Fantasy XV. Combat doesn't have the same spice without the usual party members, and although the DLC ends with an enjoyable boss fight, it's not quite enough to make this a memorable test of strength.
