As a fan of Crash Bandicoot my review probably seems a little biased, but overall the N. Sane trilogy really is a great set of games. If you're a fan of the series, or you just like a good challenge I definitely recommend getting this one!

Wow, just wow!  From the moment that family friendly Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy was delivered through my door last Friday we as a household have been hooked.  As soon as the familiar voice-over begins on the intro screen it is as if I have been transported back to when I was 16 years old when the original first edition came out on the the Playstation 1

The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy offers a well made remaster of three classic ps one titles (if you can live with missing extra content and some long loading screens). Newcomers and Oldschool Crash Fans alike will be brought to their limits and get a great graphical update besides the rewards the trilogy already had to offer.

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy on the Switch is somehow a match made in heaven. It hits all the right nostalgic notes while still revealing the flaws we all grew to tolerate if not love from the original series. Crash 2 and 3 are close to if not old-school platforming masterpieces and returning and new players alike will find special pleasure in being able to take this game wherever you go.

The insanely difficult platforming found in the collection certainly won't be for everybody, but there is no doubt that Crash is still every bit as charming as he was back in the day in the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. If you happened to miss out on this one last year due to the PS4 exclusivity, there is no reason not to check it out this time around.

I'm really glad that Activision and Vicarious Visions ported N. Sane Trilogy to the Nintendo Switch; because playing the game on the go, especially that the game has arcade mechanics, is definitely a kicker and worthwhile.

With the addition of the super hard levels which never made it into the PlayStation discs first time around, if you can grit your teeth through those ludicrous flaws, then this is a must own game for the Nintendo system.

If you've never played or at least tried the adventures of this likeable marsupial, then this is your best opportunity to reminiscence about the good old console times. Some of the gameplay mechanics got significantly older during years, however Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy can still offer you great platforming fun.

Crash Bandicoot: The N. Sane Trilogy marks the successful return of this legendary franchise. It will satisfy all the owners of the first PlayStation and shows the current generation that the adventures of this bandicoot have something to offer even after so many years.

Though its old-school sensibilities may prove more divisive with new players, the N. Sane Trilogy will meanwhile be an easy sell to long-starved fans; it’s a gleeful, often infuriatingly difficult nostalgia trip that they won’t be able to stop playing.

When anything and everything isn't actively trying to kill you, being able to replay Crash Bandicoot's first three adventures is a nostalgic trip to when platformers were first exploring the possibilities of 3D and none were more experimental than the Bandicoot himself.

Crash N.Sane Trilogy is one of the best remasters ever made, showing the care and affection that Vicarious Visions has with the original titles. Despite a more punitive difficulty and some inconsistencies in the remaining level design of the old games, the title is the perfect gateway for anyone who has never experienced the series and a great nostalgia session for veterans, doing justice to one of the pioneers in 3D platform games and one of the most beloved mascots in game history.

With the N.Sane Trilogy, Vicarious Visions team did a truly excellent job- indeed, it is a product made with utmost skill and passion. The amazing value for money and the great respect shown to its predecessor make it a collection that just can't be missed, whether you are a long time fan of Crash Bandicoot or you're getting to know the series just now.

I didn't want the Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy to break what wasn't broken. Thankfully, Vicarious Visions clearly didn't want to either, and the studio's reverence for the original maddening yet rewarding challenges that have stood the test of time is clearly on display. On one hand, that leads to the frustrating limitations of the original Crash Bandicoot persisting 20 years later. But it also results in the incredible visual and aural overhaul and the gameplay tweaks to earlier entries, like time trials and crate counters, that Naughty Dog added later in the series. Those additions make the overall package so much more cohesive while never forgetting what made, and what still makes, so much of Naughty Dog's original trilogy a blast to play.

It's a shame what happened to Crash Although Naughty Dog moved on to bigger things, I wouldn't necessarily call all of them better. The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy serves as a time capsule of sorts before the series was ran into the ground, and my only major regret is that I wish it had CTR as the cherry on top.
