The strength of these games comes from story, characters, and direction. Here, Telltale takes a terrific set of characters and puts them through an adventure that feels perfectly in line with both the movie and comic universes.

Tangled Up In Blue is without a doubt one of the best Telltale Games episodes I have ever played.

Guardians of the Galaxy is on to a good start and I love how they follow a story that we've never seen before. I cannot wait to see what happens from here on out and hope that we're in for a wild ride. Telltale is definitely on fire.

It would seem that Telltale really gets the Guardians, or at least my idea of the group and its fun.

Guardians of the Galaxy is definitely starting off on the right foot, with a great script, great actors, and a universe packed with personality (and backed by catchy tunes) to explore. If it can continue to deliver the quality of dialogue and panel-perfect action over the course of the rest of the season, it may find itself seated in the upper echelons of Telltale's catalog. I just hope that now the series has introduced itself, the series gives its environments and characters just a bit more time to breathe in between speeding the plot along.

The first episode of Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy pretty much contains everything a fan of the movie could ever desire. The graphics engine desperately needs a revamp, though.

I believe that "Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: A Telltale's series" has the potential to become Telltale's triumph card, something that we've been waiting for almost a lot.Telltale has learned his lessons and fixed the past errors and now, it has returned with a heroic space tale with a quest, to achive it's audience's approval

Tangled Up In Blue is one of the best episodes that Telltale has ever made. But the story isn't perfect yet and need a little extra work to be fantastic.

Telltale for the most part has nailed the essence of the Guardians of the Galaxy and their relationships with each other and the galaxy. Outside of a few technical issue such as a bad camera during certain gameplay segments, it's a fun first foray into Telltale's take on the Guardians of the Galaxy.

The first chapter's conflicts and outcomes may be conventional, but so were the the ones in the weird comic books my best friend's older brother stored in bread bags, which we'd read as fast as we could before he got home from football practice to terrify us. The feeling of wanting to read the next issue is just the same, too.

A great starting point for a new Telltale games' series that manages to retain what's better from the developer and from the characters. We just don't want to see how this story unfolds... Now we need it.

Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series - Episode 1 "Tangled Up in Blue" is a great introduction to this vast universe. It doesn't excel quite as much as Telltale's best, but it serves its purpose exceptionally well. Introducing us to the characters, the story, and delivering some laughs, it looks like we're in for another wonderful ride with Telltale.

This first episode sets the stage in an entertaining and action-packed way, leaving just enough room amongst it all for the sarcastic group of characters many of us have come to know and love.

I'm sure one day I'm going to finally be able to sit down and say that the well has run dry for Telltale, that their stories can't carry them through anymore. But today isn't that day.

Telltale games are all about narrative choices and living with the consequences. Episode One does tend to feel linear, especially after multiple playthroughs led to the same conclusion, however that doesn't mean your choices won't change things in later episodes. There are a handful of major choices that should affect the overall narrative. There are also a bunch of easter eggs regarding the universe and characters outside of the Guardians that some may miss if they rush through the game. With that said, the old-school music selections in the game is enjoyable, as well as some good voice acting with some funny dialogue sequences.

There’s something innately fun about this brand of Guardians, and TellTale was right to capitalize on both the recent films and the comics lore. There’s a very deft story being told, and one that’s definitely got a few unexpected turns even after one episode. Side note, I also really appreciate the stellar soundtrack and that every episode title is another fantastic song title. The question is whether or not it can carry this momentum and give us as satisfying a conclusion as we received with the Batman series. If so, someone please give TellTale more comics to make games with.

Tangled Up in Blue is a promising start for the Guardians of the Galaxy series, as Telltale applies its usual focus upon the contrasting relationships of the flawed but endearing squad. With some fresh tweaks to the gameplay and a solid soundtrack to rock out to, Telltale's latest is one to keep an eye on for both Guardians fans and newcomers alike.

Tangled Up in Blue is an excellent pilot that does a superb job in introducing each of the Guardians to new players, while remaining very faithful to their source material.
