Full Throttle: Remastered Reviews
The plot is not as epic as some other LucasArts adventure games, but it really doesn't need it. At the end of the day, it's a story about a guy who is on the run and wouldn't give up his wheels... Somewhere there is an heir to a major company, too. Full Throttle Remastered gets the highest compliment an adventure game from 1995 could get: it did not need to be remastered. It is a pretty short game, which wraps itself up at breakneck speeds at the climax, but it is definitely a ride worth taking at least once. Best to play it in the classic mode and take in the atmosphere from a bygone era. Some parts are a bit of a pain, but it is all worth it for the ending.
I was often annoyed, during my time with Full Throttle, but was amazed by its Soundtrack and great moments nearly as often. Despite my criticism I´m surprised how well this game still works nowadays and how much I enjoyed it. In my opinion, it may not be a perfect adventure game but the Remastered version is definetly the way to go, if you want to replay or experience this truly amazing classic, without worrying about technical issues, compatiblity or pixel-graphics.
Full Throttle Remastered is a wonderful love letter to a genre past its prime and a very good game for those wanting to experience classic gaming at its finest.
Full Throttle's strength is found within it's compelling story and colorful characters. A new artistic style and a masterful soundtrack selection by Tim Schafer. Even if it's shorter than most adventures, it definitely left a mark in my gaming career.

What worked in 1995 works smoothly even today. The legendary adventure game Full Throttle haven't aged, so don't be discouraged by its age. Full Throttle Remastered is a must play ride.

Full Throttle looks, feels, and plays better than ever.
Full Throttle Remastered is an excellent adventure game lovingly remade for the current generation. There are some bumps along the road, as the bike combat sequences still feel out of place and some puzzles suffer from “adventure game logic” syndrome, but overall, Double Fine Productions has done an amazing job with this remaster.
