Endless Space 2 Reviews
The game-play of endless space is easy to pick up for RTS vets but will offer a challenge to newcomers. The game looks beautiful and its menus are easy to get lost in. With different ways to play from playing the marketplace to building a huge military Endless Space 2 can really be and play the way you want. Graphically the game is amazing, lots of great animations with battles and scans of the planets as well as the overall map world looks so great.
Endless Space 2 is exactly what you would hope of a sequel to a beloved 4X game series. It takes what it learned not just from the previous incarnation, but also from community feedback via Games2gether and from other games as well.
Without a doubt, Endless Space 2 is a great game, probably the best of the series. However, I expected nothing less from Amplitude and the Endless series. Instead of trying to appeal to a broader audience they decided to build on their foundation with some neat little addons and improvements, providing a more than solid base for the sure to come DLCs.
Endless Space 2 improves on the Endless format to bring a solid, enjoyable 4X experience to people without forcing them to get a degree in reading the game's manuals. Prepare for a lot of reading and learning though!
Endless Space 2 takes what made Endless Legend great and spice it up even more with new and exciting features such as trade markets and unique factions. A must-have for 4X fans.

All in all, Amplitude have taken care to craft a massive 4X game, building on their experience to deliver a fantastic experience.
[Endless Space 2] builds off the strengths of the 4X genre and what went right the last time, adding enough of its own flavour to gameplay to make it stand out and create an addictive, thoughtful science-fiction adventure.
I consider myself a fan of the genre, and whilst discovering new systems and tactics was compelling at first, it didn’t take long to turn into something completely aimless, thus losing its ability to hold my interest.
Endless Space 2 takes elements from both the first game in the series and its planet-bound cousin, mixing them together into a great package. It has its flaws, as I mentioned when discussing heroes, diplomacy and the bugs that gravitate around quests.
This verdict is highly caveated. Short of the balance issues, and, of course, these massive game-breaking bugs, Endless Space 2 is actually really great. It hits many right notes of the 4X genre. It is fun and hours slip away. However, seeing games that are clearly not ready to be released getting shipped off, only to have massive fan complaints and hotfix after hotfix is a very bad trend in the industry. It is hard to recommend a game, no matter how fun it may be, when it can't be finished.
There are no drastic changes in Endless Space 2. Amplitude focused on everything that was good in original game and made it all just a little bit better. If that's what you're after, then you won't be disappointed.

A charming title with a breathtakingly good interface, Endless Space 2 is a clear improvement over its predecessor.
In overall, "Endless Space 2" has become a successful game for it's creators and has put it's players in a strategic field by mixing 4 elements of strategy consisting of: Discovering, Developing, Exploiting and Ruining. Keeping tactical challenges alongside various missions and a powerful narration has caused it's players to feel more adventurous and overcome their fears by exploring more the galaxy awaiting them. Without any doubts, Endless Space 2 could be the flagship of the 4X space sci-fi games that challenges the mind about tactics and politics and only the best, the most skilled and the true strategic players are capable of beating it.

Endless Space 2 is one of the strongest 4X games in recent memory, even if it's not the deepest.
Civilization in space with a touch of Game Of Thrones politicking.
Endless Space 2 is the rare 4X game where the writing is better than the strategy—though the strategy is still pretty decent.
