As with the DLC before it, Mass Transit brings very little new to the table, feeling less like an expansion and more like a minor content injection. It's a little worse here than before, as this one doesn't even bring the heavy visual overhaul that After Dark or Snowfall had. Still, the buildings and scenarios present are well-made, welcome additions to a game already rich in content and endlessly fun to play, making Mass Transit another solid addition to the already fantastic Cities: Skylines—but one fans will likely find themselves waiting for a sale to pick up.

A solid expansion for those who want to beautify their city with new transport options, but lacks more engaging content and challenging scenarios.

The Cities: Skylines - Mass Transit DLC is unfortunately not the most essential DLC for those who are wanting to add more to their city.

The improved road and transport infrastructure the content allows for is pretty great but like the other DLC's, the content seems lacking in quantity.

Cities: Skylines - Mass Transit adds more than enough new content to make you want to return to the game. The new transport hubs are handy, and all the quality of life changes make Cities: Skylines even better than it already was if designing your city's public transport network is your thing.

The detail to which you can customise the cities in here is astounding, and Mass Transit is not only adding more to the plethora of options already in Cities Skylines, but also tweaks some of the more frustrating elements, easing up the controls, and letting the player really get into the nitty-gritty of the road and traffic networking.

Whilst there's not a lot added here, what there is makes Cities: Skylines an even more complete city building simulation.

Mass Transit is an excellent expansion, with just one problem: the content isn't that much. Everything else improves over the original, adding depth to an already rich gameplay. And the support for Steam Workshop is just the cherry on top.

Colossal Order has given the Cities: Skylines community yet another exciting expansion with Mass Transit. While the new content may not be available immediately in every way you play, it's worth it once you get there. How you get there is completely up to you, but might I recommend the blimp?

With all of the extras added in the various expansion packs, the game now feels a little more like a municipal engineer or municipal planner simulation than anything that properly depicts what it's like to be the mayor overseeing everything. Even with that caveat, Mass Transit adds more character and depth to what's already the premier city-building simulation.

On the whole Mass Transit is a more than welcome set of additions and improvements to Cities: Skylines, but there's just that nagging feeling that it could have gone a little bit further in some areas and a couple of options could be a little smoother to use.
