It is disgusting how addictive this game is. As with every game in this franchise, Farming Simulator 18 should really be called Farming Equipment Driver 18 since pretty much all you do is drive in as straight of a line as possible with various farming equipment to grow crops and make money. Like I said, this game should not be this addictive, but true to the franchise's history, Farming Simulator 18 on the 3DS proves that the formula of slow moving accomplishment can be successfully ported onto a handheld in a slimmer, slightly less visually detailed package.

For younger players, or those who just want a casual, laidback experience on their 3DS, Farming Simulator 18 is actually a pretty solid buy.

Farming Simulator 18 actually improves on its console predecessors by cutting the fat.

I can’t imagine anyone beating Giants’ offering when it comes to Farming Simulator 18. If you’re looking to relax and feel the digital earth between your digital hands, this one’s a keeper. Recommended.

It might not have the charm of Harvest Moon, but there's a purity to the experience in Farming Simulator 18 that also means it avoids the irritants.

'Farming Simulator 18' is ideal for veterans to the series, but not so much for those jumping in for the first time. The whole experience is tedious and really only satisfying if you're willing to put a lot of time into it, so expect a lot of grinding.

Nice rendition of a surprisingly complex game. It could become tedious soon: approach with caution.

Farming Simulator 18 brings to the 3DS a series of welcome aspects on strategy and simulation on a farm, which thanks to a simple control system and a well designed complexity level strike a good balance as far as entertaining the players is concerned. The game could certainly do better when it comes to guiding the player but it's a good effort and one worthy of attention.

Surprisingly successful handheld version of Farming Simulator 18. PS Vita version is offering players a wide range of possibilities. The game pulls in, relaxes and is a perfect chill out within more hardcore games.

The format has once again been successfully translated into a portable format. It doesn't stack up to its counterparts on consoles or PC, but it's certainly a serviceable port. The UI can be cumbersome and unintuitive, and the gameplay itself is incredibly slow paced, but the simulator style has made the transition largely unscathed.
