Oh...Sir! The Hollywood Roast expands slightly on the original title, but for every minor improvement it makes, it stumbles over a list of missed opportunities, poorly-handled references, and a script that really could have used a few more rewrites. One-on-one verbal battles are still fun enough for the first hour or so, but beyond that it gets repetitious and even downright intolerable. We don't really recommend either title, but if you had to pick one then we'd recommend the original over this tasteless B-movie.

Oh… Sir! The Hollywood Roast is a great choice as a cheap and funny party game after a few drinks. Yet, it's better to try the original first.

It is a game of no discernible value that fails to effectively skewer the most skewerable of industries. The one moment of joy this game brought was watching it uninstall. In case there remains any doubt, do not buy this game.

Oh...Sir! The Hollywood Roast is a fine game to play with friends for an afternoon, however, quickly becomes an afterthought after a couple of hours of play. There is some fun to be had, just don't expect a deep and engaging experience.

A rather fun insult generation, though it wears off quickly, it’s quite humorous for bursts of an hour or two.

Oh...Sir! The Hollywood Roast is an amazing game if you're looking for a good laugh and to lose a few hours. Roasting spoofs of celebrities and crushing their soul could be one of the most satisfying feelings I've had for $3.99.

It's a game and it works, but it doesn't break any new ground and Vile Monarch need to have a big think on where to go from here with the series.

While this game is a fun time killer, I don’t see a push that would drive the need for this game. Sure it would be a great party game with your friends or the occasional online match from time to time, the overall amount of content here is minimal. There aren’t nearly enough character and the amount of lines to choose from for roasts gets repetitive and gives you the been here, done that feeling. If you are wanting to pick it up for the party game that it is then it’s definitely worth the price of admission, just if you are thinking this will provide you with countless hours of laughs at a single sitting then you might be disappointed.

I found Oh...Sir! The Hollywood Roast to be better than the original, the references were more fun yet it's still a very awkward take on insulting.

The theming and phrases having a more entertainment-oriented vibe does differentiate the two games a bit and adds personality to the proceedings but there’s still no getting around that, like the original, this isn’t likely a long-term game. What’s great is that it is priced accordingly so if you keep your play sessions from getting too long and space out play a little bit you can probably keep it from feeling quite so repetitive longer. The fact that this is a pretty unique game experience also helps to add to the giggles and low price to make it worth considering for some budget-friendly entertainment.
