It's by no means a great game, but The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame does more than enough to avoid accusations of being an egregious cash-in. The simple co-op platforming coupled with the invigorated combat system deliver a game that's a mindless bit of fun.

The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game is another good entry in the LEGO series of games. The increased focus on combat pays off with a fleshed out system that makes each character feel unique, while the free-running provides enough safety nets to keep you from getting frustrated. Despite a couple of technical hiccups and a poorly thought out ending, LEGO NINJAGO has so much going for it that the overall experience isn't dampened.

It's a LEGO game alright, and these small but meaningful changes make it one of the better titles in the collection. Even if the Ninjago franchise doesn't interest you as much as Batman or Marvel Superheroes might, the gameplay and signature LEGO humour makes The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame well worth jumping into.

A new video game adaptation of an animated movie with the most famous miniature construction games. The LEGO Ninjago Movie: The videogame takes up the strong points that have made the saga so great, reinforcing them with juicy novelties.

My biggest takeaway from Ninjago was how gorgeous the clips from the movie looked on the Switch's screen, even if they're unskippable. The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game is, perhaps unsurprisingly, best enjoyed as a companion to The Lego Ninjago Movie and only by its biggest fans.

The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game es a really entertainining game. It focuses more on action and combat than in puzzles and exploration and that gives it a special personality that makes it feel different from other LEGO Games. Sadly, it also shares the same formula that we have seen in practically all the other LEGO games from the last decade and so, the surprise factor is completely absent.

The Lego Ninjago Movie Game does a great job of bringing the full film experience to your console and wrapping it up with the next step in Lego gameplay . It's fantastic to see a return to the style of the Lego Movie Videogame, as opposed to the Lego Batman Movie's half-accurate Lego Dimensions pack, but it's bittersweet when all of that good work is somewhat undone by last-gen technical flaws which have somehow found their way back in.

The greatness of the combat really shines, especially during the Dojos, but Story missions are over swiftly compared to most LEGO games and the lessened character roster shortens its longevity further. Technically it can be rather frustrating, with bugs making me wary that I might have to restart a level to rectify a problem and the slow-down can make it unplayable at random points, if only for a short while.

t’s reassuring that even when cashing in on the impending Autumn blockbuster, Warner Bros have pulled no punches when making this game. If you’re looking for a solid platformer to play alone, with friends or with family, then LEGO Ninjago is a pretty kickass choice!

There’s plenty of promise on display in The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game‘s heroics, easily amounting to the ninja’s best adventure after some, admittedly, painfully average handheld escapades. Fans of the movie won’t want to give it a miss, but technical hiccups keep it from achieving a greater sense of inner peace. Ninja, go!

The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game is a really good addition to the series. The improved combat mechanics and additional features really help this game stand above the more popular licence based LEGO titles. The story started as a familiar one I've heard a million times yet evolved into one which had me hooked, wanting to watch the next cut scene for the humour and great voice acting.

The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game tries some interesting new things for a Lego game, with varying success. The lack of character variation makes things feel a bit dull, but there’s an undeniable sense of relaxed fun to the game.

It definitely delivers fun, especially with the game’s’ voice characters. They really capture the humour in every line they say. Although the demographics was intended maybe for kids or for teenagers – young adults still can find little jewels here and there hidden on this video game.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame stands out from other LEGO games, not for the huge game changes but for the little additions that are often unappreciated. I thoroughly enjoyed this title and I am looking forward to playing more.
