Everybody's Golf looks good and has the same fun, breezy feel as previous versions, combined with intriguing online modes and a surprising amount of depth. The new open-world, online focus creates a new energy in what has always been a conservative series.
This is very much more Everybody's Golf with a few extra brush strokes and a overtly pleasant online portion to round it out. The result of that is easily the best version of the game to date, and with a good price point and welcoming structure, it's a fine place to visit for a few holes.
Everybody's Golf reaches the green at eagle pace and then proceeds to duff the green. Don't get us wrong, this is still a highly enjoyable arcade golf game with some brilliantly original ideas, but there are some bizarre design errors which seem to weirdly imbalance the game. Pair that with an unreasonable progression system and you're left with a title that needlessly undoes a lot of its own hard work.
A good golf game that takes its attitude to the esthetic and functional customization has his mantra.

Clap Hanz's reboot for one of the most popular brands in the PlayStation history has managed to achieve a great balance between fun and new mechanics, such as the MMO-esque hub that allows you to interact with other players in such different ways. A great return for the beloved golf franchise.

Expect well-architected courses, a small selection of meaningfully varying clubs and balls, and a distinct visual presentation that includes lots of goofy but oddly agreeable quirks, like characters running down the fairway after their balls.
Everybody’s Golf is a worthy addition to the series and a welcome addition to the PS4 library. If you want a game for when you have ten minutes to spare, or one in which you can challenge yourself as you seek to set better scores on the leaderboards, look no further.
Polished arcade golfer that every PlayStation 4 owner should have in their library.
A vibrant interpretation of golf that expands on the series' distinguished lineage without compromising, or distracting from, its strengths.
Everybody's Golf on PlayStation 4 is the best it's ever been, and that's all you really need to know.
Everybody's Golf is a decent update for the series that retains the fantastic fun and gameplay found in earlier versions, but the hours of grinding required to unlock the full experience won't be for everyone.
Everybody's Golf is still the funniest and fresh golf game you remembered on the previous PlayStation systems. Now it has a new focus on online multiplayer, and it works very good.

Everybody's Golf is a solid arcade title that seems to do everything right in recreating the sport itself, and providing a carefree and welcoming atmosphere. But unfortunately, some jarring design decisions make this an overly restrictive and tedious experience that few casual players will want to slog through.
Catering to both the casual and simulation golfer, Everybody's Golf strikes a nice balance of fun and challenge. There are plenty of things to keep you busy and the game is especially fun in couch co-op with friends. If you don't mind the arcade graphics and presentation, Everybody's Golf is sure to bring hours of fun and is a worthy successor to Hot Shots in every way.
