Rayman Legends still one of the best platform games out there, it offers an enormous content along with a verity of characters, bosses and worlds. My favorite so far are the music levels, amazing soundtracks that beats with every single move in the fast rhythm gameplay. Definitive Edition adds few changes to multiplayer mode Kung Foot which uses Nintendo Switch joy-con along with the touch screen.

Rayman Legends is one of the best platform games you can find nowadays, and this is a solid version that you can take with you wherever you are thanks to the Nintendo Switch. Having said that, there is nothing new for those who already have another version of the game.

Rayman Legends is still a fantastic platformer with a gorgeous presentation and on the Nintendo Switch it is a perfect fit for gaming on the go - but lacking the touchscreen controls for the Murphy sections in the main game, it isn't quite worthy of the "Definitive Edition" subtitle.

Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition does not bring a whole world of difference compared to its original but what it does, it does well. Thanks to its fun and visually rich, varied worlds and to a long lifespan, this take of Rayman Legends will fall very well with the players, with the added advantage of handheld gameplay.

This game is clearly not a "Definitive Edition". Too many compromises have to be made like missing Wii U controls or compressed graphics. Other than that it is still one of the best Jump 'n' Runs out there and a definitive must-buy.

In bringing the latest Rayman adventure to Switch, Ubisoft has given the machine easily one of its most visually stunning and enjoyable releases to date. Not quite living up to the moniker of Definitive Edition with increased loading times and performance hiccups, as well as a missing feature, Rayman Legends is still well worth the lower asking price to those yet to jump into Rayman's world, yet outside of the portability aspect it offers little to entice series veterans.

Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition is surely the definitive edition of the game, albeit it adds very little to the original outing. New skins and Kung Foot tournament are not enough to warrant a second purchase of the game; homewever, Rayman Legends remains a must-have even four years after its'original release if you haven't played it before.
