Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition Reviews
Rayman Legends is one of the best platform games you can find nowadays, and this is a solid version that you can take with you wherever you are thanks to the Nintendo Switch. Having said that, there is nothing new for those who already have another version of the game.

In bringing the latest Rayman adventure to Switch, Ubisoft has given the machine easily one of its most visually stunning and enjoyable releases to date. Not quite living up to the moniker of Definitive Edition with increased loading times and performance hiccups, as well as a missing feature, Rayman Legends is still well worth the lower asking price to those yet to jump into Rayman's world, yet outside of the portability aspect it offers little to entice series veterans.
Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition is a tough game to review. On the one hand, it's still a fantastically creative platformer with plenty of content to offer and an easy recommendation for anyone yet to experience this adventure. On the other though, it's yet another version of a game we've seen plenty of times already with little to offer returning players especially at its higher price point.
Rayman Legends is still a fantastic platformer with a gorgeous presentation and on the Nintendo Switch it is a perfect fit for gaming on the go - but lacking the touchscreen controls for the Murphy sections in the main game, it isn't quite worthy of the "Definitive Edition" subtitle.

This game is clearly not a "Definitive Edition". Too many compromises have to be made like missing Wii U controls or compressed graphics. Other than that it is still one of the best Jump 'n' Runs out there and a definitive must-buy.

Rayman Legends is an outstanding game but this definitive edition is not good at all.
The production guarantees many hours of satisfying fun, it is demanding, but not discouraging to take up the challenge, thanks to which both the adult and younger player will have something to do here.
