PC players finally have the chance to try one of the best games of the year. After a great success in other platforms, it is time to play it in our PCs. Still, it needs a really high-specifications device in order to work properly.

From the gorgeous visuals to the design in its monsters and ecosystems, Capcom has made the best Monster Hunter game yet. It's just a shame it doesn't help with its complex systems an occasionally poor explanations of them.

Monster Hunter: World is a revelation, taking a series that was once reserved for all but the most hardcore of fans and tweaking it enough to make it appeal to a new generation of gamers while still keeping its core perfectly intact.

This long standing series makes an outrageously good current gen debut. The size and scope of the environments, and the monsters in them, is awe inspiring, making Monster Hunter: World a true (lizard) king of games.

It may be a poor teacher with text-heavy interfaces, but Monster Hunter: World is a great entry into the franchise if you haven't played anything from the series thus far. It's polished and filled with content, and you'll regret not immersing yourself in the series sooner. It provides a challenging yet enjoyable combat system that will keep you on your toes, and the variety of menacing monsters adds new challenges and keeps things from getting dull. You'll happily trade hours of your free time for more monsters to hunt, capture, and slay.

With little in its way, Monster Hunter World smashes expectations with its organic, living, beautiful world. Matchmaking has its quirks and qualms, but little stands in the way of what's been created here. Monster Hunter World raises the bar high without distilling what made the franchise special in the first place.

Monster Hunter World is a fascinating and beautiful game. MMO fans, action fans, RPG fans, and open world fans will all find something to love. This is a game that invites players in and gradually reveals its glorious depths. The unconventional multiplayer aspect might take some time to get used to, but the core loop of hunting monsters and crafting gear is so strong that even the most skeptical players will be snared by Monster Hunter's hooks if they give it half a chance.

Monster Hunter: World is easily the finest entry in the franchise to date. The move to PS4 has only done it favours, with stunning visuals and environments that you'll want to get lost in. Flashy, satisfying combat will lead to many water cooler chats, and vastly improved online features make it a breeze to find help. It's a real shame that Capcom still hasn't found an ideal way to welcome new players, but if you are able to sink your teeth into World, you'll discover an incredible action RPG experience.

Monster Hunter World doesn't revolutionize the genre, but improves it anyway. Indeed, apart from loading times that can sometimes seem long and some graphic bugs, the game has improved a formula that has always worked. If some changes may disappoint long-time fans, the game remains accessible to everyone. Rethink a game is never an easy thing, but Capcom has succeeded. As epic as it is beautiful, Monster Hunter World is a must-have of the saga.

It's hard to imagine another game capable of drawing our attention like this one. Monster Hunter World is huge, captivating, challenging and addictive, especially if played with a group of friends. Capcom has improved so many things over the original formula, it's almost impossible to keep track. Seriously, there's no better moment like now to begin your hunting career.

Monster Hunter World isn't the perfect game in any way, but it's a great first step for those who haven't played this series before. And with plenty of new content, deep mechanics and a beautiful world it will not disappoint the hardcore-fans either.
