If you liked Neon Chrome but wanted a more set and less random experience, Jydge is the game for you.
From top to bottom, JYDGE is a heck of a run-and-gunner. It takes a minimalistic approach to story to give players the simple charm of the futuristic law enforcer that reminds of good '80s and '90s movies of the sort. Then it melds that environment with a slick combat system that keeps on giving and taking until your jydge is a cavalcade of murderous tools with which to deal out deadly justice, and for which every player will find their own preference.
JYDGE is a well polished title that will keep you coming back for more and more, whether it's the soundtrack or the multiple ways to approach a situation this is a game that demands you give it the justice it deserves. With non stop action and seemingly never ending progression JYDGE stands out from its fellow twin stick shooters making it a must have for fans of the genre.
If you’re looking for a new top down shooter in which you can play your own way, then you need to call the JYDGE.
If you’re a big fan of twin-stick shooters and don’t mind being pushed out of your natural style of play and comfort zone JYDGE is an excellent bit of mayhem to enjoy on the Switch. While it shares much in common with Neon Chrome those similarities are generally only on the surface. Both are ultimately all about the visceral thrill of mowing down the bad guys but the level of nuance you’ll need to use on some of JYDGE’s missions makes for great moments and it could be argued that the shortened objective-based format makes it a better match for pick up and play fun on the go as well. All in all for shooter fans it’s fair to say that JYDGE does a great job of execution… on all levels.
Jydge is superb in its approach to a niche genre. It's violent, it bends to your particular whims thanks to an onslaught of constantly available upgrades and it never takes itself too seriously as you dispense instant jystice.
I had a great experience with the game, and being a fan of such movies like Robocop and Judge Dredd certainly adds to my enjoyment I had with all the action going on in JYDGE.
JYDGE is a great game in the Top Down Shooter style, despite its short campaign with only 20 missions, the form of progress with a lot of replays can make the gameplay time a little bigger. Nevertheless, undoubtedly the infinity amount of perks, guns, specials and bonus guns are the highlight of the game, combining a lot of perks, guns modifiers and specials creates a unique JYDGE to each mission. If you liked Neon Chrome or Crimsonland, JYDGE is a game for you.

If you can get over the forced replaying of the same levels, then Jydge is an excellent twin-stick shooter. The gunplay and level design are well done, with some real enemy challenge to accompany your ability to destroy a good number of things in sight. The variety in your level approach is a good hook, the presentation is nice, and the tools are all enjoyable to use. Genre fans will enjoy giving this one a spin.
Fantastic! With a vicious aesthetic, hectic but not overwhelming pacing across multiple difficulties, intricate level design and overall mechanical complexity, Jydge manages to sweep its complete lack of story, dialogue, and spelling under the rug. Ryg.
JYDGE is a great example of how to do a twin-stick shooter correctly. Based on 10tons history, I imagine these types of games are second nature to them by now and it really shows. The game can be challenging, but you are rewarded well with progression in the main story and the magnitude of unlocks you gain throughout your playthrough.
JYDGE is a very fun sorta-prequel to Neon Chrome that is a good upgrade over said game thanks to its handcrafted levels and great replay value. Sure, it has its focus set on the speedrunning community, but thanks to its difficulty settings it offers something for players of all skill levels. If you're looking for a new action shooter on PS4 and don't mind some violence and gore here and there, then you should check out JYDGE!
JYDGE is a very fun and hectic twin-stick shooter on Nintendo Switch with bite-sized stages, making it perfect for regular gamers and for speedrunners alike. There are plenty of objectives to complete, a ton of cyberware enhancements and weapon upgrades to unlock and purchase, and millions of potential combinations for you to customize your JYDGE's loadout.
If you played Neon Chrome or other similar isometric twin stick shooters and enjoyed them I would recommend giving this one a go. At first glance it doesn't seem like much but once you get into the meat of it you'll realize that there is more then meets the eye. The game is short but has some depth.
Jydge is a fun yet difficult twin stick shooter brimming with customisation and content, it can be difficult at times but its varied mission types and unlockables should keep you busy for a good while.

A shooter full of action and bullets with a very simple premise: to complete a few objetives in order to unlock new levels. It adds also some personalization in order to make it a little different.

JYDGE is an enjoyable twin-stick shooter that has a fun and destructive core mechanic and a lot of replay value. If you're a huge fan of twin-stick shooters it'd be a crime not to give this one a try and judge it for yourself.
JYDGE is a strong entry in the twin-stick shooter genre. It employs a multitude of systems and features to create a fully customizable experience. Winning is not just a matter of building the ultimate killing machine. Each objective can require a different loadout, so there's reason enough to test a variety of weapons and gadgets. The bland yet serviceable visuals convey the action quite well. Aside from a few annoying objectives, this game is consistently enjoyable.
There's quite a few levels to work through in Jydge, so you'll get your money's worth.
