It's not perfect, but I'm having a good time with it. I encourage you to save often, though, because the game crashed on me three times and resulted in lost progress. Annoying, but at least it's not hard-locking the system.
Sequels typically improve on their predecessors and Nights of Azure 2 is no exception here. Some of the flaws from the original game are now fixed but at the expense of creating new problems along the way.
Playing through Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon is a strange balance of joy and determination — long periods of boredom tend to surround shorter pockets of enjoyment.
Personally, I wasn't a massive fan of the original Nights of Azure, but I couldn't put this game down once I started playing it. The game feels like you are always progressing due to its time limits, whereas a JRPG would usually be a lot slower in its pacing. The combat is solid and you have at least three playthroughs of the game to complete if you wish to try and achieve the platinum.
Simply put, if you're a fan of action RPGs and are looking for something unique and surprisingly addictive then Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon may have what it takes to be your next genre obsession.

A sequel to the neo-gothic jRPG released year and a half ago, but with a new heroine. It fixes almost every flaw of the predecessor so we all can enjoy this great, dark title from Atelier creators.

The game is still very compelling and does a great job of creating an overall package. Check this game out as it's worth your attention.
Nights of Azure 2 is a very enjoyable action RPG that could have used a bit more work. The story is quite good and the combat is entertaining, but repetitive level design and uneven difficulty drag down the overall package, preventing it from reaching greatness.
Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon improves over the predecessor in every possible way, from the more refined gameplay to a more inspired story and art direction. There are some technical issues, and the game is not available in the Italian language. Other than that, a pretty good RPG-musou.

If Nights of Azure could have been a promising franchise, Gust didn't succeed in making a good use of it with this second game. Despite a few improvements, Bride of the New Moon is technically and narratively too weak to outperform his predecessor. Only its casting, while too clich' and hyper-sexualized, raises the bar and offers a few cute moments. In itself, Nights of Azure 2 isn't a chaotic game and JRPG fans will most likely enjoy it.

Nights of Azure 2: Bride of The New Moon is an interesting mix of different genre. The time limit can be frustrating if you're at the very end of a dungeon or just before some teleport chamber but in the end there's enough time to complete all the objectives in the game.

There's something magical and quaint about Nights of Azure 2‘s world.
Nights of Azure 2 is a very average action RPG that does everything okay, but very little exceptionally.
Knights of Azure 2 was not an awful experience, just a thoroughly mediocre one. Combat is dull and simplistic; game performance lacks; many of its systems never amount to much and – its visuals are likely held back by the Vita, a device that westerners forgot about 5 years ago.
Lacking a clear narrative and suffering from outdated gameplay mechanics, Nights of Azure 2 : Bride of the New Moon will probably only appeal to fans of the series. The sequel doesn't bring anything new to the table, and is mostly crude in terms of execution which is a pity from a studio known for their great work on the Atelier series.
Though it’s not a bad game, uninspired gameplay and a lacklustre story and setting hold back Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon from ever being close to great.
A fast-paced hack-and-slash with fun, combo-heavy combat and an anime-after-dark aesthetic, Nights of Azure 2 is a great time. Strong characters, endearing interactions, and an interesting plot kept us excited to play more throughout, even if the repetitive missions and environments make for an experience best enjoyed in smaller chunks. There are some noticeable performance issues in handheld mode, and a few interface woes reflect a lack of overall polish, but if you're looking for an enjoyable action romp with plenty of blood-sucking style, this is an excellent choice.
A below-average Japanese hack 'n slash with repetitive combat and an over-reliance on fan-service and titillation to carry players through its cliche story and several cringe-worthy character interactions.
Existing fans of the Hack & Slash genre may find some enjoyment in Nights of Azure 2, but what awaits for newcomers is a by the numbers hack and slash game that does nothing to make itself unique.
