To sum it up, for a $5 game, Let Them Come has a good amount of content for such a little price.

This is really a game for those high score junkies. It's old-school in both looks and design and for a quick time waster works perfectly. If you're looking for something deeper, then this is not the game for you.

Let Them Come is an amusing distraction that is not terribly deep or even all that interesting; at best it is inoffensive. What saves this for complete disaster is the very meticulous sprite art, design, and the overall aesthetics. A very special mention must be given to the music, which is an unbelievably tense and brooding synth score that really puts the user in the deranged mind set of the blood lusting soldier. The gameplay is that of a shallow mobile affair, complete with a long list of upgrades and supplies that are balanced to encourage the grind. This sort of title is great for on-the-go casual play, but on the big screen it's just not going to hold interest for long.

A neat game that would be better on mobile than literally anywhere else.

It may only grab your attention for a few short hours, but during that time, Let Them Come proves to be an enjoyable, uncomplicated and gore-laden alien blaster that has a certain 80s/90s sci-fi movie charm. There are far worse ways to spend six quid/eight bucks.

It's a simple concept, but one that works and just makes you want to keep on firing.

Let Them Come is a fun arcade-style release on PS4 that will keep you coming back for more due to its addictive nature. Replaying waves after upgrading your weapons and skills will slowly but surely get you closer and closer to the end. The challenge continues to increase as you progress further and further into the game, but thanks to the many weapons and boosts you can purchase to add to your inventory, you'll certainly succeed in your mission.

Let Them Come offered a surprising amount of variety for what essentially is a glorified shooting range. Weapons and upgrades feel unimpactful at first but quickly build momentum into some more fierce and powerful. Monsters are offered up on a platter for the player to blissfully murder then contorts the players elated murder spree into one of strategy and wit, continually mixing things up. But all this weighs heavy on how much players enjoy tower defence style games.

With nonstop action, varied and challenging enemies plus a good soundtrack, Let Them Come is a fun but short game that fails to offer a greater variety to the player besides the main campaign.

Let Them Come takes a singular concept and wraps a whole game around it to great effect. Let Them Come might not be the deepest shooter around, but its bite-sized morsels of alien blasting fun will assuredly keep you coming back for more.

All in all, I really enjoyed my time with Let Them Come. It featured intense action, tactical decision making and brutal boss battles. For only $4.99, it’s a hell of a bargain. While I did get frustrated getting past a couple of the bosses, that didn’t drag the entire experience down. If you want a challenging action game infused with the machismo of the action movies of yore, you can’t do better than Let Them Come. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have more alien scum to mow down in New Game+!

You’re not going to be playing Let Them Come weeks and months down the line. In fact, you may not bother heading back for alien bashing even a couple of days after your purchase, but should you be looking for a game that brings a hugely addictive hit for a single evening, then Let Them Come is well worth checking out. Especially at the price.

Let Them Come sticks to its guns (har-har) with solid gameplay that doesn't stray from what it does best. While the campaign itself doesn't take very long the run through, new game plus and challenge mode add replay value.

Let Them Come is the ultimate turret sequence. The game blasts past expectations with simple arcade gameplay and a solid presentation that combines the best of 90s shooters with heavy synth beats.
