Rogue Trooper Redux Reviews
Rogue Trooper Redux is a third person shooter that surpasses the original by adding depth, a story of betrayal, an interesting dynamic with Rogue's squad, multiple tactics, and fantastic controls.
Despite showing its age in some places, TickTock Games have done a great job of revitalising a cult classic such as this. Rogue Trooper Redux is a fun cover shooter action romp and worth picking up if you fancy being a big blue badass.
Rougue Trooper Redux is a very interesting third person shooter with a straightforward and short campaing. Its atmosphere and style of the supersoldiers are some of the best parts of the game. A good adaptation, but with the same issues as the original game.

Despite some fun shooting, Rogue Trooper Redux plays almost identically to the original, which unfortunately hasn't aged too well.
Rogue Trooper Redux won't be for everyone, but old fans wishing to revisit a favorite and new players interested in the tale of a classic franchise will still have fun here. Some aged mechanics and a handful of minor bugs in animations and camera control can hamper the experience, but for the most part, Rogue Trooper Redux is a fascinating game to revisit.
Rogue Trooper Redux boasts an enjoyable campaign with a wonderful supply maintenance system in place. The ability to spend your earnings on whatever you please rather than relying on what is handed to you sets this title apart from the more "standard" games in the genre. The online multiplayer modes aren't as fun as they could be, though, and the main game's relatively short length (anywhere from 5-10 hours depending on your play-style) means that it strays just short of being a truly amazing experience. Despite this, it is still definitely worth your time - whether you've played the game before or not. If you enjoy your shooters, give this one a go.
Rogue Trooper Redux Polishes Its War, But Keeps Some Baggage
That being said, the hectic 13 missions remain a fun romp to get through. The campy story and amount of upgrades only elevate what the developers tried to pull off. Rogue Trooper requires a more aggressive gameplay style than I remember, but I can't really say that I'm bothered by it.
If you like to go solo there's definitely fun to be had with Rogue Trooper Redux. It's a time-capsule dressed up real pretty, and sometimes it's nice to take a look back and see how far you've come
Rogue Trooper Redux is good dumb fun, if you don't go in expecting too much you won't be disappointed.
Rogue Trooper Redux is showing its age but this Trooper certainly deserves a second tour of duty. The FingerGuns Review;
Rogue Trooper Redux is a fun game, but after plowing through the campaign I'm left wondering why it exists. Why re-release a game that's perfectly adequate but doesn't do anything particularly noteworthy or special? What's even more puzzling is that it ends on a cliffhanger. Considering there has never been a sequel, I would have rather have seen how Rogue's next chapter played out than tread down a well-worn path once more.
Rogue Trooper Redux might have been a strange game to remaster, but I had a decent time playing through the story again. I enjoyed taking advantage of the limited enemy AI as well as taking them out with my arsenal of gadgets. Although I would have preferred a reboot or sequel to the series, this provided a nice trip down third-person shooter memory lane, but that might not be enough to gauge enough interest from modern gamers.
Fans of the original game and the comic book series will have a lot of fun. There's no denying the impact that Rogue Trooper has had on the modern shooter; the game just didn't leave me with a great impression.
Rogue Trooper: Redux is the return of the classic game based on its comic. The necessary graphic improvements or the sound section are not as good as the gameplay that although very effective, feels old-fashioned. A very good title for the fan.

A solid remaster/remake/whatever-you-want-to-call-it of what was at the time, a pretty fine shooter. Rogue Trooper Redux represents fantastic value for money, even if it hasn't quite managed to stand the test of time.
There's still life in this old Rogue Trooper yet, but the limitations of its time makes Redux a fun but inessential addition to your library.
Rogue Trooper: Redux is a fine piece of memorabilia of past games. It's perfect for someone willing to remember the old days but it's feels, now, as a arcaic, rather edgy kind of game.

Rogue Trooper is still fun, and boasts a sense of freedom that even many modern shooters don't possess. The polished visuals do a good job bringing a ten-year-old game to new consoles, but the overall feel may be too creaky and old-fashioned for some.
Rogue Trooper Redux is an ok game. It has some interesting ideas with its mechanics, and while the story was bland, I was never bored with it.
