Episode Five is a step back for the series in multiple ways, leading to a conclusion that feels rushed and minimally fulfilling.

So first off, and this is actually without a doubt, I will give episode 5 as a separate entity a 10/10. Just like Batman: the Enemy Within's strong start, this series had an even stronger ending and I am so pleased with it. Indeed, I can say that it all led up to this moment and it was all I was hoping for.

A finale as uneven as the series itself; a few highlights and more meaningful outcomes to earlier choices are offset by Telltale's usual problems of pacing and gameplay mechanics.

At the end of the day, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy had only two enjoyable episodes. The rest of the season was so poor that even made these two forgettable. Wrong decisions of developers and poor writing ruined the first season for any of us.

And that is a wrap - our trouble-making Guardians provide a satisfying conclusion in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy - Episode 5: Don't Stop Believin'. A pretty predictable ending does not diminish the great overall story arc punctuated by some genuinely entertaining moments for several of our characters, leaving me to hope that there will be more seasons to come.

Episode 5 of Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy has me anticipating more space-faring adventures with Peter Quill and his family of heroes.

Not without its weaknesses, the conclusion to Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy series nonetheless takes things out on a high note. It's clear that Telltale's storytelling and gameplay are wearing out their welcome, so hopefully the teased follow-up season will do more to reinvigorate this shaky franchise. Despite this, if the earlier episodes had you wondering whether Guardians of the Galaxy would amount to anything, well, don't stop believin'.

The narrative is where Telltale Games has shined throughout the series, and episode 5 really proves that.

Even if the final episode had its fair share of problems, the experience of playing a Guardian’s of the Galaxy Telltale game’s last hurrah is something that a lot of people are definitely going to enjoy. The way the characters are presented, how the dialogue is written, the music that plays, and even the camera angles used for just about every scene was well done and this is definitely a game that fans of both the comic books and the films should definitely get their hands on.

Don’t Stop Believin’ is a mostly strong finale that, despite some lazy visuals and the standard engine issues, nicely wraps up the first season of TellTale’s Guardians of the Galaxy while providing closure for each character’s arc.

Don't Stop Believin' helps to undo a lot of damage of previous episodes, but this more level-headed characterization is five episodes too late.

Guardians of the Galaxy has been a bumpy ride, with the occasionally poignant character moments and amusing dialogue exchanges drowned out by perfunctory action sequences, tepid puzzling, and the unshakeable feeling that the whole endeavour is just a pale imitation of the Guardians movies. The finale's heightened pace plays to the series' strengths, removing much of what made previous episodes so frequently frustrating, and so perhaps if there is a second season of Telltale's Guardians -- and, like any Marvel movie, you should probably stick around until after the credits for hints as to what might happen next -- we can only hope that it follows the blueprint of Don't Stop Believin'. It's not perfect, but if you're a fan of Telltale's formula or the eponymous Marvel characters, the improved latter half of the series makes Guardians of the Galaxy just about worth playing.

Don't Stop Believin' is a good conclusion for Guardians of the Galaxy series, even though it still carries almost all issues from the previous episodes. In the end, Guardians of the Galaxy could have become one the best Telltale games if its action and adventure aspects were as good as its story and character development.

This conclusion to Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy needed a lot more runway. The interactions between the crew of the Milano are sharp and full of character, but the mad rush to finish the plot ends up feeling somewhat unsatisfying when all is said and done.

The fifth and final episode of Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy solves the series' relationships, delivering a dignified ending to the story.

After the up-and-down rollercoaster that has been this season of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Episode 5: Don't Stop Believin' has managed to tie together an emotionally-investing story.

The worst episode in a struggling season by far, Don't Stop Believin' proved that I should have just stopped believing in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series long ago.

As a finale, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series - Episode Five: Don't Stop Believin' is a complete failure. The big action sequence lacks any real punch, and the final moments are not joyous or victorious, instead being boring and feeling like a fan-fiction written by a teenage supporter. Telltale recently announced the lay-offs of 25% of its workforce, so it could produce higher quality stories. Hopefully, this trimming of the fat will return it to the halcyon days that now seem so long ago.
