Guardians of the Galaxy – Episode 5 "Don't Stop Believin'" solidifies this as another Telltale classic. The studio has always handled mixing drama and humor well, and this series proves that they've still got it in them.

In the end, Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series' finale is more a whimper than a bang, but it's not disappointing enough to taint the good times I've had so far with this crew. I can only hope that the narrative seeds planted here turn into something substantial in the future, as this is a family I'd like to stick around with, if I can.

As a season, Guardians of the Galaxy delivered the kind of experience I wanted. It's the most I've found myself laughing and smiling since Tales From the Borderlands, and I enjoyed the adventure and story laid out here more than the sequel movie that released this year.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series Episode 5 Don't Stop Believin is a fantastic ending to this season. The animations were distracting but the removal of tiresome puzzles for more narrative and action made episode 5 the best one of the entire season.

Don't Stop Believin' does a great job of making the stories and the background you've explore with the Guardians matter.

Don't Stop Believin' isn't the strongest episode of the series, but it does mark a rather fitting end to Telltale Games' Guardians of the Galaxy.

Don't Stop Believin' feels stretched out, but ultimately plays out as an enjoyable finale filled with humor and heart. If this does end up being the final appearance of Telltale's take on the Guardians of the Galaxy, it'll be reassuring to know that the season ended on a high note (in more ways than one), while still leaving an open door for the dysfunctional space family to return in the future.

The core of Episode 5: Don't Stop Believin' provides a thrilling and fulfilling resolution to the season arc with a couple interesting surprises in store. I just wish it hadn't been immersed in this flimsy, fake crisis of the Guardians breaking up and getting back together that was never fully realized, and ended up dragging the whole season down. Flaws and all, however, Guardians of the Galaxy is, overall, one of the stronger stories Telltale has put out. This has become the version of the Guardians team I see in my head first when I think about them. I'd be thrilled to hear we might get to join them on the Milano for a second season.

This is not the ending we hoped for: for the whole series you will not care about the main villain and things are not going to change here. The feeling, when you are face to face with the ending credits, is that with five main heroes and with their amazing uniqueness, this series needed more time (and maybe more episodes) in order to be meaningful and remarkable as it could have been.

As a finale, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series - Episode Five: Don't Stop Believin' is a complete failure. The big action sequence lacks any real punch, and the final moments are not joyous or victorious, instead being boring and feeling like a fan-fiction written by a teenage supporter. Telltale recently announced the lay-offs of 25% of its workforce, so it could produce higher quality stories. Hopefully, this trimming of the fat will return it to the halcyon days that now seem so long ago.

The worst episode in a struggling season by far, Don't Stop Believin' proved that I should have just stopped believing in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series long ago.

Despite walking back the massive cliffhanger from the previous episode, Don't Stop Believin' is a funny and emotionally strong conclusion to Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy series.

After the up-and-down rollercoaster that has been this season of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Episode 5: Don't Stop Believin' has managed to tie together an emotionally-investing story.

The fifth and final episode of Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy solves the series' relationships, delivering a dignified ending to the story.

This conclusion to Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy needed a lot more runway. The interactions between the crew of the Milano are sharp and full of character, but the mad rush to finish the plot ends up feeling somewhat unsatisfying when all is said and done.

Don't Stop Believin' is a good conclusion for Guardians of the Galaxy series, even though it still carries almost all issues from the previous episodes. In the end, Guardians of the Galaxy could have become one the best Telltale games if its action and adventure aspects were as good as its story and character development.

Guardians of the Galaxy has been a bumpy ride, with the occasionally poignant character moments and amusing dialogue exchanges drowned out by perfunctory action sequences, tepid puzzling, and the unshakeable feeling that the whole endeavour is just a pale imitation of the Guardians movies. The finale's heightened pace plays to the series' strengths, removing much of what made previous episodes so frequently frustrating, and so perhaps if there is a second season of Telltale's Guardians -- and, like any Marvel movie, you should probably stick around until after the credits for hints as to what might happen next -- we can only hope that it follows the blueprint of Don't Stop Believin'. It's not perfect, but if you're a fan of Telltale's formula or the eponymous Marvel characters, the improved latter half of the series makes Guardians of the Galaxy just about worth playing.

Don't Stop Believin' helps to undo a lot of damage of previous episodes, but this more level-headed characterization is five episodes too late.

Don’t Stop Believin’ is a mostly strong finale that, despite some lazy visuals and the standard engine issues, nicely wraps up the first season of TellTale’s Guardians of the Galaxy while providing closure for each character’s arc.

Even if the final episode had its fair share of problems, the experience of playing a Guardian’s of the Galaxy Telltale game’s last hurrah is something that a lot of people are definitely going to enjoy. The way the characters are presented, how the dialogue is written, the music that plays, and even the camera angles used for just about every scene was well done and this is definitely a game that fans of both the comic books and the films should definitely get their hands on.
