Batman: The Enemy Within - Episode 3 Reviews
As a verdict, I see no reason not to give this another 10/10. Nothing really I want to complain about. Engaging story, mixed up with enough gameplay sections, put in a mix of good OST and pleasant smooth graphics and we have a recipe for success.
It's been a splendid time with Joker once again being quite something and the others of the team coming across as essentially wild cards.
Batman The Enemy Within Episode 3: Fractured Mask doesn't attempt to rush things any focuses more on narrative instead of action. In Batman The Enemy Within Episode 3: Fractured Mask you'll either push away those potential allies or made new alliances.
Season 2, or Batman: The Enemy Within is off to a much stronger start than Season 1 and with the twists, turns, and startling revelations that capped off last season's Finale, I cannot wait to see where Telltale takes this series next.
Batman: The Enemy Within's third episode continues the forward momentum from the first two, leading to another episode where I've been engrossed in Batman's drama.
Despite the lack of introducing new mechanics to set off the mid-season, Telltale Games took the helm with its narrative direction for Episode 3: The Fractured Mask. It’s a good way to spice things up as we get closer to the season finale, and hopefully, the next episode would not screw this momentum up.
Telltale digs deep into Bruce Wayne's relationships, as things get complicated for the Dark Knight.
I enjoyed episode three quite a lot, and I'm really looking forward to see how the big reveals are going to effect the rest of the season.
Acting more as a transition episode, Batman: The Enemy Within - Episode 3 "Fractured Mask" is another great episode in the series, even if it isn't as fantastic as the first two. The tension is running high here and Telltale's writing is at the top of its game. If the last two episodes can live up to the first three this will easily go down as one of the developer's best.
The highlight of Batman: The Enemy Within‘s third episode is definitely the interactions with Catwoman, but it also does a great job of moving the story forward. The overall picture is becoming increasingly clear, and the episode ends with a fantastic cliffhanger that left me on edge. The wait for episode four will be rough, but I'm excited to get out of this mess that Bruce Wayne finds himself in.
I am still heavily invested in the story of Batman: The Enemy Within, and I'm excited to see how things develop from here. But little niggles like inconsequential ‘big' decisions still feel too heavy-handed and put into the story for a bit of shock value that doesn't really amount to much in the end.
Players new and old took to the spotlight in Batman - The Enemy Within Episode 3, and it was clear just how your decisions would affect those around you. "Fractured Mask" indeed.
'Fractured Mask' isn't the most eventful episode, but it's still fun, all the characters are clashing wonderfully, and it's fun waiting for the hammer to fall and your choices to bite you hard. Which will probably happen in Episode 4. We can't wait.
Fractured Mask offers some of the season's best scenes in yet another strong episode in Telltale's latest season. The consistency during the two hour tale leaves a little to be desired, but Batman: The Enemy Within continues to be among the best Telltale has to offer.
Fractured Mask is another thoroughly enjoyable episode of Batman Season 2. Though some of the decisions characters make are questionable, the re-introduction and further development of Catwoman and John’s decreasing sanity are a joy to take part in.
The Fractured Mask was a much needed step in the right direction after the previous fumble. It seemed to get back to the basics and had a much narrower focus. Not to mention the setup for the next episode has me all kinds of excited.
The arrival of Catwoman not only introduces us to a very interesting character per se, but also makes the Telltale versions of Harley Quinn and Bruce Wayne/Batman better.

When it isn't dragging its feet, the latest episode of Telltale's take on Batman offers some engaging twists and turns.
An overabundance of subplots aside, this solid episode reinforces the fact that Batman: The Enemy Within is on a trajectory to be one of Telltale's better series.
Overall, in Fractured Mask, Batman: The Enemy Within continues to do what it has always done best…
