Overall, the game plays well on the nostalgia of fans of both Bridge Constructor and Portal titles, will exercise your brain with its puzzles without frustrating you too much. With a generous amount of levels its well worth a look and you may find it a lot more fun than it maybe looks at first glance.

Having said that, however, the game’s 60 levels will likely take you many hours to complete, and is a thoroughly fun experience well worth the $14.99 price tag. As a certain song and this section title goes, it’s hard to overstate my satisfaction. This game is sure to please almost everyone in its target audience and I highly recommend it.

Bridge Constructor Portal is a welcome addition to the Nintendo Switch catalog and one which captures the Portal universe in a competent and well crafted way. While the experience can get a bit repetitive on some moments and the price is higher than that requested for the same game on mobile platforms, the game features a long lifespan, plenty of well-written humour and a constant level of challenge.

Bridge Constructor Portal is a fun and challenging 60 levels of varying degree of masochism. It incorporates everything characteristic to Portal games and merges it with Bridge Constructor gameplay. The only bad this is that it was advertised as the 'next Portal game' by Valve.

If you're looking for a fun game that you can pick up for 10 minutes here and there to kill some time, Bridge Constructor Portal is a great choice. Also, it's for science.

The fact that each level can be overcome in about 15 minutes or less makes Bridge Constructor Portal great for portable gaming on your Nintendo Switch. On the go, the convenient touch controls carry over from the mobile version (tap and drag to place your struts, zoom in for precise placement, etc.). Docked mode, however, is a bit more cumbersome.

Bridge Constructor Portal is an excellent puzzle/simulator within the Portal franchise, and GLaDOS is an awesome character that will carry the player along all the campaign with good and intelligent jokes. It's a game with 60 stages and two variations of each one. If you like puzzle games, Bridge Constructor or the Portal franchises, this game is a great option for you.

Overall, Bridge Constructor Portal is a fun game if you like physics-based puzzles. It requires thought so you will get some decent length playing, but there is often a lot of setup in getting the bridges ready and testing if it works. It’s a nice, fun, solid puzzle game.

Ultimately, Bridge Constructor Portal feels like a solid little collection of architectural challenges that will keep puzzle-hungry physics-lovers with plenty to do. But, anyone looking for a heavy dose of story or a treasure trove of Portal-related content shouldn't expect much.

Bridge Constructor Portal is a fantastically challenging puzzle game that is dressed in $10 looks. You will not be awestruck by anything the game does, but the challenge will have you wanting more, the humor will keep you smiling, and the silly horn at the end of the level will be enough to know you "did it."

Bridge Constructor Portal is a fun and engaging puzzle game that does a great job of appealing to players of all skill levels while offering a relatively hefty amount of content. Though it sometimes feels like an awkward port and it doesn't always make the most of the crossover potential, it gets the core mechanics of puzzle solving right, and there's more than enough quality here to satisfy those looking to scratch that itch on the Switch. We'd give Bridge Constructor Portal a strong suggestion to anybody looking for a fun puzzle game on the eShop; this is a game that constantly makes you think outside the box, and there's nothing else like it available at the moment.

Bridge Constructor Portal is still Bridge Constructor. The inclusion of GLaDOS, dark humor and Portal staples like gels, turrets and companion cubes will be appreciated by fans, but it's not enough to overcome the tedious core gameplay.

The Bridge Constructor series gets a lot out of being combined with Portal, resulting in a quirky and engaging new twist on this physics-based puzzler. It could have gone further, whether upping the challenge you can aim for or actually giving you the portals to play with, but what's here is pleasingly inventive and has more than few tricky brain teasers.
