Sairento VR Reviews
Sairento is one of the most comfortable PSVR games I've played, despite the high flying, high tempo nature of its content which is an incredible achievement and lays the groundwork for a sequel which can take this further. In and of itself though, Sairento needed a little more variety to its action (maybe focusing on first person platforming at times or adding more enemy types) to really send it to the top of its genre.
Sairento VR was originally released in 2018 before it was done cooking. A year later, with some more time in the oven, and this is honestly a must-have VR title for anyone with even a passing interest in action games, ninjas, or good old-fashioned slow-motion combat.
It’s really hard to find fault with Sairento VR. Yeah, its story is a bit meh and it can take a long time to find some games on multiplayer at the moment due to a modest player base, but the game is just so damn fun. The combination of movement abilities, weapons and skills create a seemingly limitless platform for you to jump into some pretty Japanese environments and make them bloody, having the best time VR can offer while you do so. If the endless killing and cinematic action doesn’t keep you playing, for sure the deep progression and loot systems will as it gives a sense of accomplishment to go along with your desire to be an expert armed-to-the-teeth ninja.
Sairento is not just one of the best VR games on the market; it is one of the best games money can buy,
No VR game comes close to delivering as much action-packed combat as Sairento VR so sharpen your blade and get ready to fight.
Sairento VR is such a ridiculous, over-the-top joy to play and once you’re done with the campaign mode, the game’s additional challenge levels and multiplayer mode will keep you occupied. Sairento VR the closest thing you’ll get to a truly interactive, immersive action movie, and if you’ve invested in a PSVR you’d be mad to miss it.
Sairento is fun, and it's highly recommended if you own a PSVR headset — assuming your stomach can handle the erratic movements and jumps.
Terribly dated visuals and wonky movement mechanics get in the way of what should be an amazing ninja slice 'n shoot adventure.
Sariento VR is one of the most impressive VR titles in many ways. From the technical standpoint, with the graphics and engine stability, to the movement system (which is a pure thrill) right through to the sounds of the weaponry, which really make everything come to life. There are a few titles that mix some of the acrobatic movement and bullet-time mechanics separately but none have combined them so well and in such a complete package. This is one of the first VR titles on the market that could be reasonably described as a true AAA VR experience, with an addictive gameplay loop of missions offering plenty of rewards and a voiced campaign. Best of all, it might be a first class title but developer Mixed Realms has delivered on a budget price of £22.99. For VR owners, this is a must buy.
One of Sairento’s taglines is “VR was made for this” and I find myself agreeing with the statement. The mobility made possible here just feels so right that I expect a lot of other VR games to take notice and copy it. If you own a VR set, you should definitely have this game in your library!
After a steep learning curve Sairento treats you to a tactical orchestra of blades, bullets and acrobatics. Its a pure joy to dissect each stage while performing amazing feats and killing with style. Its like no other game on PSVR and I highly recommend it.
While it's a bit creaky around the edges at times, Sairento VR‘s ninja action is truly fantastic when it gets moving.
Sairento VR is a fun experience and one that is far more complete than most VR gaming experiences out there. With it you get a good story, fantastic gameplay mechanic design and a good set of multi-tiered levels to use those mechanics in. This is more than just a gimmicky, short experience, which most VR games slip under these days, as it is a bright spot in a sea of VR shipwrecks.
A phenomenal new port of a 2018 gem, Sairento VR is a brilliant PlayStation VR action FPS featuring a dazzling amount of customization and content.
Is Sairento VR a masterpiece of technical innovation? Far from it. But despite its obvious visual and mechanical shortcomings, the game knows what it does well and takes every opportunity double-down on delivering this experience. You will find very few games on the PSVR that can provide a combat experience this frenetic, kinetic, and goddamn amusing. If you're looking to take a slice out of crime and indulge your inner ninja, this one's a cut above the rest.
Sairento on PlayStation VR may not be a big-name title, but it deserves to be. Excellent combat, unique movement mechanics, and a steep learning curve make it a must-play for anyone looking to unleash hell in VR.
Sairento VR is one of the best games on PSVR. With non-stop action and thrilling acrobatic controls. It delivers an adrenaline shot of pure action straight to the heart. There is simply nothing else like Sairento VR on PSVR or any system for that matter. This is a groundbreaking, standard-setting game that will serve as a waypoint for VR action games for years to come.
Even with its flaws, Sairento VR's brand of cyberninja action makes it one of the most unique and refreshing shooters to date.
Campaign needs some work and there are some bad bugs, but for the most part Sairento VR is a blast to play. Play with a friend and enjoy some great ninja action in VR.
Sairento is a game that most PSVR owners should check out. It feels like the exact kind of title we’ve been waiting for.
