The Station has heart but seems to end just as things are getting interesting, almost rushing to the climax instead of enjoying the created space for a short while longer.

The Station is a must for the ones who carve for a decent atmospheric game with great story-telling. The Station may look like another space exploration game at one glance, but it is built on something very solid and at some point, maybe dark and challenging for our minds.

The Station loses the opportunity to exploit a great atmosphere falling into narrative topics too used at this point, having a mininum duration and serious technical problems that avoid enjoyment of the experience.

The Station plops the player in an interesting political situation in the reaches of space. What to do when you finally discover an alien species that’s borderline barbaric to each other raises some interesting questions. Gameplay may not be as interesting or groundbreaking, but anyone who’s played a short adventure game will be right at home. The only problems you have to worry about are a few unclear solutions and a rather short playtime for the game’s premise. Other than that, fellow sci-fi lovers, welcome to a satisfying journey in space that doesn't include shooting something.

The first age of so-called walking simulators is long past. The design foibles that led to such projects being so widely decried have been ironed out, but the genre is still struggling to find its feet. In such a situation, The Station is no revolutionary. Many aspects of the game help to give it a unique identity, but the gameplay is too reliant on established ideas to allow it to stand out from a crowded field.

The Station is a promising game, telling a magnificent story through a path paved by games like Gone Home and Tacoma.

The Station is futuristic sci-fi puzzling delivered with polish, but the trouble is that what you receive doesn't feel very new.

It's always a pleasure when the storyline is as intriguing as the gameplay. The Station is good at both in equal measure. The solutions to the sundry problems on The Station are just challenging enough—not too easy, not too hard.

So called "walking simulators" live or die on whether they deliver an engaging story, and while The Station appears – at least at first glance – to have this covered, it misses the mark in a number of important ways. It's not bad by any means, but its characters and themes feel light and underdeveloped. While it stumbles narratively, it does at least successfully craft a tense atmosphere, but neither this nor its modest number of enjoyable – if somewhat easy – puzzles are enough to make this a prime candidate for first contact.

It may not be a great game, but the puzzles are impressive. It's just shame it has such a rushed ending that never rewards you for following the plot.

The Station is one of the best narrative-driven sci-fi adventures, and while its walking simulator-like gameplay, low replay value, and tiny length, will annoy those who wanted something meatier, the story and its fantastic conclusion provide enough reason for fans of the genre to give it a go.

A bit on the short side, but with a compelling plot and a great looking location. If you like first person puzzle games, then prepare to like The Station.

The Station fails to captivate despite its interesting ideas and puzzles. The setting is nice, but the script and narrative couldn't quite deliver on the core concept.

If you're a fan of exploration titles then you should enjoy this. While The Station doesn't reach the heights of some other titles in the genre, it is a good attempt and tells a slightly different story. Hopefully the audio and visual bugs can be ironed out, but The Station is an intriguing little mystery that has you guessing what happened to the crew on board right until the very end.

The Station, despite bugs, is a game you should definitely play. It's a couple of hours in space that makes for a great sci-fi adventure. Cleverly used in-game augmented reality is one of many strengths of the title.

The Station is an excellent walking simulator on PlayStation 4 and a solid first release from a new studio. This release has a lot to offer, even if it's a short one. I liked my time with the game, and I look forward to seeing what the studio has to offer in a new story, hopefully on PlayStation 4.

The Station from the developers of the same name have made something gorgeous and engaging. Whether you choose to find every audio log and entry or not, the developers have provided a unique science fiction point of view that usually isn’t given in a game, provoking thought. And while The Station isn’t very long, it is full of clever surprises and fascinating story that absolutely delivers.

It’s intriguing and interactive enough to hold your attention, and I suppose the fact that I wanted more by the end is a good sign as well as a bad one. But if you’re interested in a thrilling but short sci-fi story, then The Station could be for you.

The Station is short and sweet, which could be seen as a detriment. However, I liked the fact that there wasn't a lot of fluff to the story, and there weren't any fetch quests or other modes of padding the game to keep it going. There was plenty in the story to tell, and the developers didn't drag it out at all. The brevity actually solidifies how stellar the narrative truly is, and I can't recommend it enough to all gamers who love a good story, especially a good mystery.
