Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Reviews
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is easily the best SAO game to date. Gameplay is fun and there’s enough on offer so don’t be worried if you don’t think you’d be getting your money’s worth. Fans of the franchise will be pleased with how well the source material is being treated in video game format, where previous titles might have been a letdown.
While the game felt a little unpolished in some areas, overall it's a ton of fun. Sword Art Online fans will likely enjoy the immense amount of story, while people just looking for the gameplay can have just as much fun too. Easily the best title in the series by far.
It is no secret that I am a fan of Reki Kawahara's Sword Art Online franchise; when I first saw the anime back in 2012 I was hooked. I was going through a bit of a rough spell on a personal level and it just clicked; in a way the Aincrad arc could be seen as a parallel to my own troubles at the time. It holds a special place in my heart so each time a Sword Art Online title came around I lobbied for the chance to get my hands on them and the case is no different for Bandai Namco's latest dive into the franchise, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet. Eschewing some of the more tedious features of the past games, Fatal Bullet is an excellent, if repetitive third person action RPG.
There is no doubt that Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is the best installment of the whole series. The visual appeal may not seem quite attractive at some occasions, but the gameplay covers the flaws and make this game a great treat for the users.
A good tie-in of the originale anime series, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is a solid JRPG, a bit repetitive and with the difficulty not well balanced.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is the most beautiful and extensive title of the series so far but it stays mostly a generic shooter in its core. The enemy AI never really shines and besides the wide cast the story doesn't really deliver anything special to motivate you for the upcoming grind.

A surprisingly fresh take on licensed anime games, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet manages to get more creative by offering you a fresh character rather than one of the series mains, and it carves out a fairly decent story within the canon. The gunplay is solid, but be prepared to grind and patiently wade through some of the slower sections
Particularly, the shooting and movement mechanics felt great…
Fatal Bullet isn't going to light any charts on fire, but for those looking for a different take on the genre, it accomplishes what it sets out to do well.
I enjoyed most of my time with Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet but I felt that it could have been a better experience with improved dungeon design and controls. Thankfully, this is a great new direction for the SAO series to be headed. Hopefully, the next video game installment will continue the trajectory of Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet and make this series the best it can be for fans.
As someone who loves Monster Hunter, Phantasy Star Online and the Lost Planet spin-off E.X. Troopers on the 3DS, I found “Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet” to be surprisingly enjoyable. It still lacks polish in some areas and its anime-style look and story won’t be for everyone. If you’re looking for an MMO-inspired third-person shooter with old-school loot hunting and grinding plus online co-op, however, Fatal Bullet just might hit all the targets in your brain’s pleasure centers.
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is a fun action RPG with technical flaws holding it back from true greatness.
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is proof that, step by step, the series has improved a lot, despite still having glaring flaws. Although repetitive, the combat is very fun. The lack of variety in the missions and scenarios end up affecting the overall quality of the product.

While you typically knew what to expect from a new Sword Art Online game in the past, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet turns that idea on its head with a completely different third person shooter experience. It certainly is nowhere near the best RPG out there right now, but getting to jump into the world of Gun Gale Online this time around makes Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet well worth it for fans of the series.
SAO: Fatal Bullet has many great features both in gameplay or interesting characters, amazing boss battles and good soundtrack, but in contrast made a somewhat boring story in the first 30 hours, but it starts to improve after that, and I wished if the world design was more interesting and the artificial intelligence of your classmates are very bad, but in the end if you're a fan for the series, you'll obviously love it.

An Action JRPG based on the famous anime series. Interesting third-person shootter mechanics and a plot that will be appreciated especially for fans of the series, because Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet its better a fanservice title than a role game. Recommended for Sword Art Online fans.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is not a bad game per se, there are no real flaws or problems, but the overall experience is a little bland and generic. Things get a little (but just a little) better if you play with some friends, even in PvP. It's your typical product that will only please the hardcore fans of the original material, nothing more.

Despite the rough edges, Dimps' work is easy to like if you're a Sword Art Online fan hungry for something new to advance the franchise with. Though ultimately held back by the jank, it's definitely worth checking out, if for nothing else than a welcome change of pace and setting.
Fatal Bullet is a conservative game that could have take more advantage from the Sword Art Online universe. However, it is a great game and is suitable for those who love the anime.
