Rad Rodgers offers a great artistic concept in the design of the stages and collectibles it offers, not to mention the presence of two comedians that make the trip more exciting and the world of the 2.5D is designed perfectly and takes advantage of the most prominent elements of this classic games, but on the other hand, the game suffers from Lack of challenges, puzzles, limited artificial intelligence, and only 4 kinds of enemies, plus the Pixelverse puzzles that are of no use at all.

All in all, Rad Rodgers is one solid platformer from Slipgate Studios. Sure it's not reinventing anything major in the genre, but knows how to merge the best in platforming games from our past and give it a modern approach.
Rad Rodgers is a retro platformer inspired by Jazz Jackrabbit, Commander Keen, and Conker. With his potty mouth console, Dusty, Rad must save First World and restore the Elder Tree. The levels are filled with collectibles and hidden areas, and the visuals and music combine into a game that was created with a lot of love for its inspiration. Unfortunately, this is completely undone by a game-stopping bug in level seven, which I hope will be patched quickly. If it is, the game is good, but for now, I cannot recommend a game that cannot be finished.
Rad Rodgers might take its inspirations from the Apogee masterworks of the 90’s but it needed more modern day thinking to avoid mediocrity.
Overall Rad Rodgers offers a solid platform game that I think all or most gamers will love to appreciate, especially those still living for that 90's nostalgic feel. The replay value is pretty solid with the ability to go back and replay levels to find all the secret rooms, bad guys, and collectibles.
The game has several failures, some quite serious, but it's a game that focused on having fun, and after all it succeeds in it.

If you like 90’s platformers, crude humour and don’t mind something that’s a bit rough around the edges then you will like this title. If your looking for a tight, polished platformer then look elsewhere, this is not your game.
Rad Rodgers seems to be a good combination of platformer and shooter. Unfortunately it lacks challenging levels and double jump, and hats are present, but of no consequence. It's worth to hunt for retail version of the game. It will be a gem.

At the end of the day, if you were one of those who loved gaming back in the day, then you’ll enjoy what Rad Rodgers brings. It’s not the best platformer out there, but it’s still fun and will let you kick back with a huge smile on your face. Unfortunately you may begin to find that grin slowly turning to a grimace as the confusion and lack of direction in the latter levels takes hold.
Rad Rodgers is a decent 2.5D platformer which brings together various aspects of all the old 2D platformers we love and slapped on a modern look. The writing is funny, the story is entertaining and the references thrown in here are sure to make everyone who gets them smile.
It’s a shame that Rad Rodgers couldn’t think of anything better to differentiate itself than to reach at any other memorable platform game, because that wears its own credit razor thin.

Rad Rodgers is a simple platform and action game that aims to please those who miss the 90s. It has simple mechanics and non-linear stages. The biggest problems is the layout of the stages, that can confuse the player at certain points. In addition, the enemies and weapons are repetitive.

Despite my love of the 90s and all its radicalness, I won't be eagerly returning to this one, no matter how rad it may seem.
Rad Rodgers is still a reasonably fun experience with decent platforming, highly detailed environments and a funky soundtrack. The game despite the obvious padding is a great length for both casual gameplay and for someone who wants to finish it in one sitting. The misfiring humour and weak standard of the environments however make for a poor narrative, and generally, an experience that isn't particularly memorable.
Rad Rodgers is a love letter to games from an older time, and manages to succeed in delivering a violent and satisfying 2D shooting experience. Unfortunately, unpolished platforming and a short length keep it from being a must play, especially considering the plethora of alternatives out there. The humour may not be for everybody, but for gamers looking for a blast from the past, Rad Rodgers is a rollicking and violent nostalgia trip to a simpler time.
Rad Rodgers is a nostalgic and beautifully crafted action-platforming game. It is exactly what we need in a world filled with more and more copies of the same games. A game that is original yet rooted in the past and the classics. Rad Rodgers is a game that has something for every gamers to play, enjoy and have fun with it. Still, what Rad Rodgers is is a good (not great), $20 game that you’ll give a playthrough of and likely never touch again. Despite its repetitive level design, samey environments and repeated one-liners, it’s still worth the play. And actually, I’d love to see a sequel hit that maybe explores some of the ideas a bit more. For now, Rad’s adventure is worth taking, and you should give it a shot.

Kirby is back in a new platforming adventure and this time he’s bringing some friends aUp in the air, where the eagles fly, there exist excellent 2D platformers that pay tribute to older games while still retaining their own identity. Rad Rodgers came so close to soaring alongside them, but its wings melted a bit, so it has to glide for a bit and look down at the scattered bodies of Kickstarter nostalgiabait…and their own wings.
