Rise of Insanity Reviews
Walking simulators as horror are always a bit weird, but I can understand why some people appreciate them...
Rise of Insanity is so confusing, I couldn’t stop playing until I finished it but I can’t say that it’s because I really enjoyed it. There are some really good scares in the game but there’s not enough tension or atmosphere. The story is gripping and the files you find are really interesting, but it eventually disappoints. There are better horror games out there but this is overall a pretty solid offering and I can see the talent the studio has.
One of the most boring, insipid horror games you'll ever play.
Can you overcome your fear and beat internal Demons of renowned psychologist? Only if you are patient and permissive player.

Only if the story was more unpredictable, that would be something unique. But it is still worth to give a shot and try it.
Rise of Insanity doesn't offer much, but it also gives you everything you could want from a game like this. Atmospheric exploration of traditional places and less traditional human mind takes only a short time, but this way, the game doesn't overstay its welcome. This game simply knows what to offer and when it should end.

A good story to be told, Rise of Insanity is not intense enough to make us suffer. It tries to become a new step in the Layers-of-Fear-style, but the remaining sense is that something lacks.
