Batman: The Enemy Within - Episode 5 Reviews
We may not see another Batman game from Telltale for a long time, but I would like to say “great job” with the season finale. Even if there were no “the edge of the seat” experiences, the emotionally-driven plot overshadowed its flaws. With the freedom of control in how you mold John Doe to be, what the Same Stitch showed is a fantastic way to end the season with, probably, a teardrop.
There were some really interesting new changes brought up and some fun parts that helped make this come together as a strong episode.
This finale episode provides a unique spin on the creation of the Joker, while also offering up tough choices that have lasting impacts on the episode and the franchise moving forward if Telltale continues to create new Batman stories. It redeems the season as a whole, and really provided some entertaining DC Comics moments.
The fifth and final episode of Telltale's Batman: The Enemy Within AKA Same Stitch secures the series as a triumph in narrative design and the greatest re-imagining of the Joker to date.
Batman: The Enemy Within Episode 5 Same Stitch is everything a finale needs that will leave you shocked and craving for season 3.
Telling a truly interesting story with lots of depth, the full deck is here, and the Joker is a wildcard. The player’s hand has been dealt, and now they just have to play it; it’s far too late to fold. This is your Batman creating your Joker, and the end result is a completely satisfying experience.
Same Stitch not only feels like a natural point to end the current plot line, but it teases smart moments to come a new season, one that hopefully there will be.
This is all I will discuss about the story of this final episode since it's one you have to experience for yourself. As I mentioned before I took John Doe down the vigilante path for this Joker persona, but you might perhaps have led him down his villain path, and that is the Joker you will run into for the season finale. Because of this, Telltale Games worked hard on the final episode to give us over three and a half hours of unique content between both possible versions of Same Stich, making this a very beefy way to end the second season of their very interesting take on the Batman mythos. I had a lot of fun playing all of Batman: The Enemy Within, and I look forward to seeing what Telltale Games does next with Batman or with the DC universe.
The Same Stitch changes your mind about the whole series and brings you one the most thrilling encounters of batman with Joker.

Besides being on top form when it comes to the writing and cinematography, it's a riveting drama involving Batman and Joker, with the latter available in two, almost equally tasty, flavours.
Batman: The Enemy Within - Episode 5: Same Stitch is an extremely satisfying end to what has been such a rollercoaster of a season.
'Same Stitch' is a spectacular end to arguably Telltale's best series, and one that encourages players to replay the entire thing to see how things could've gone. If you haven't picked up Batman: The Enemy Within, do so - you won't be disappointed.
Same Stitch is an amazing epilogue for an interesting and well-crafted season. It feels rushed sometimes and almost forgets about some characters that we learnt to love (and hate) in the previous episodes, but the way your conflict with the main villain'and yourself'evolves is really thrilling and efficient.

Despite a slightly forgettable middle and a few characters being given a rushed ending, Same Stitch is a fantastic finale for Batman: The Enemy Within, as Bruce Wayne and John Doe's uneasy alliance comes to an explosive and constantly surprising conclusion.
Wrapping up Batman: The Enemy Within on a high note, Same Stitch provides one of the most fascinating versions of Joker along with some real eye-catching fights.
With two vastly different storylines, Batman: The Enemy Within - Episode 5: Same Stitch brings the story of the Joker to an epic climax where you decide the fate of your friend/foe.
Telltale's final piece of content for The Enemy Within is as surprising as it is crazy. And because of that, it's the studio's best game for sometime. Expect the unexpected and just enjoy the ride.
Despite its issues, episode 5 of Batman: The Enemy Within stands tall as one of the very best and most well thought out episodes we've ever seen from Telltale. Your decisions finally feel like they actually matter, and the story delivers a powerful resolution to the two characters we've been following closely all season.
Telltale's second Batman season goes out with a bang, as it boldly reinvents the familiar in grand fashion while ensuring that players have an emotional and personal investment in the crazy twists dealt to them when the Joker runs wild.
Mechanically, it's as inconsequential as ever, but Batman: The Enemy Within - Episode 5: Same Stitch concludes the season in spectacular fashion, warranting a second look from those that dismissed it.
