World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is a good expansion with an interesting story on both sides, quests, new mechanics and game modes that relies too much on the achievements of past add-ons.

Battle for Azeroth is another try of Blizzard to keeep World of Warcraft players online. And it is not bad at all.

While World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth hasn't been my favorite expansion in the franchise, it brought with it some great new dungeons, fantastic new raid encounters, an excellent new story, and gorgeous scenery. I have hope that what is lacking, or "not working as intended" will be adjusted over time. My love for the game, and the thriving community I have built within it are what keep me logging in week after week.

The greatest testament to Blizzard's design in this expansion is that it's worth wading through Battle for Azeroth's seemingly endless and frustrating grind, all in the hopes of helping your group of four friends push their keystone up one more level than you thought was possible — at least, for now.

To be repetitive or not to be. If like the writer of this review you are one of the people who only experienced World of Warcraft: Legion for a short time or skipped it entirely then World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is an amazing experience and you will surely enjoy the smallest of the details, but if you had enough of your share of Legion and want something more then Battle for Azeroth can disappoint you.

After 14 years, Blizzard still knows what's at the heart of WoW, while proving it's not afraid to try new things. While not every new feature is a home run, the expansion's tighter focus on "the war at home" reminds players about what made Warcraft so popular in the first place.

If you've completed the story there's still a lot to do in this world, of Warcaft. New dungeons with fun themes and locations are enjoyable to grind through and PVP is always a fun whether you're casual or hardcore. The world, of Warcraft is bursting at the seams with stuff to do. Don't Like PvE? Try Pet Battles. Don't Like Pet Battles? Try PvP. I'm a pretty casual player and the thing I enjoy doing the most is going back to old content and playing through it solo, for the first time.

There is just so much to do, with more content being added regularly I think that Battle for Azeroth has me firmly in its grasp.

Battle for Azeroth is a solid follow-up to Legion that'll keep fans happy - if only for the new continents, War mode, and dungeons. Time will tell if the rest of the features will give the expansion the shelf life it needs.

In the end, Battle for Azeroth makes some great improvements in the levelling experience, but faults in its class design and the less rewarding Azerite system mean that overall, it takes too many steps back from Legion.

All in all, Battle For Azeroth is in all things a true expansion to Warcraft; it is a continuation, a plateau for the game to simply continue existing.

Battle for Azeroth is more of the same, and that's what many World of Warcraft fans were looking for. Doesn't invent anything new and there is much that he borrows from something that appeared previously on the game, but worth returning to Azeroth to discover the history, insular expeditions and the Warfronts.

Battle for Azeroth plays it safe, but that's ultimately its advantage. The true war will come and I'll be waiting impatiently. This expansion has a ton of potential that is still to be realized. And I'm sure Blizzard will do just that.

And for those sitting on the fence about whether or not to jump into the action again, there's only one thing I can say: Battle for Azeroth is the perfect opportunity to come back to World of Warcraft. I have to give the folks at Blizzard credit for pouring their hearts and souls into the game once again, it definitely shows.

Battle for Azeroth has a lot to live up to thanks to its stellar predecessor in Legion, and for the most part it delivers.

Battle for Azeroth, despite the endless grind, has been an exciting expansion this far. However, raids and additional content are what makes the game great. Blizzard has made the entry level into the new expansion welcoming for new players and some die-hard critics have shared their concerns with the current direction Blizzard are going with making the gaming "easier."
