Destiny 2: Warmind is the new beginning that the franchise needed and the community hoped. The ranking system in the Crucible and the Escalation Protocol are satisfying and very challenging. The only regret is that the main campaign of this expansion could have been more in-depth.

Warmind isn’t the content I wanted it to be. But it does give a positive sign that Bungie is trying. Is it repeating some mistakes of the past? Sure.

Destiny 2: Warmind was a chance to regain the trust of Destiny fans, sadly like the previous one is just subpar. Individually set at $20, the content is not worth the price tag, you will probably fall quickly in the same routine, and will be left with 1-2 month saying simply: now what? I'm extremely worried about the franchise now and really hope this is not the road Bungie is going to keep on going with.

Destiny 2 does have an identity once again, a solid bedrock upon which to build its future. But whatever Bungie has planned, it's going to need to be far sturdier than its latest collection of recycled content, uneven new events and a meagre amount of PVP content.

A good, but not a great DLC for Destiny 2. Very few reasons here to return to the Bungie's online FPS.

A good effort but doesn't manages to do enought to right the wrongs of Destiny 2 nor the previous DLC.

Unfair rewards and poor balancing make Warmind seem like a step back.

A predictably inessential expansion that adds nothing anybody ever asked for and completely fails to address the points fans have been complaining about for months.

Warmind brings back mechanics from Destiny 1 that players were after, but still doesn't deliver completely in terms of interesting, varied content. Still, it is more of a win than a loss for Guardians, if you are playing on PS4.

Warmind is a big let-down that threatens to wipe out any sort of enthusiasm for the game that might be left. After all, if this is what you have to look forward to, why keep playing?

When it's all said and done Warmind left me feeling mixed.

Destiny 2's second expansion brings a wasted story, a confusing and tedious narrative, an immense variety of recycled content, and once again shows questionable decisions by the developer. Players who are still interested in the game can let go of this expansion and wait for the next one that will surely come in the future.

Destiny 2: Warmind is geared toward high-level players, but it offers little in the way of motivation while you grind levels to get to the endgame.

Warmind is a new DLC that, without taking Escalation Protocol into consideration, does not bring anything new to the game. A 4 hour campaign with a dull story are not enough for the price of this DLC.

Warmind does little to save the end-game appeal of Destiny 2

Like its predecessors, Destiny 2: Warmind struggles to justify its price tag thanks to a throwaway campaign and some incredibly tired mission design. The quality of Destiny's core gameplay is still clear to see and the expansion as a whole is dotted with a handful of high points, but it ultimately just feels like the game is purposefully treading water until September's big arrival -- and that's simply not good enough.

Warmind is Destiny 2 at its very core - grandiose and beautiful but ultimately hollow and insignificant with a plot that's there just so it doesn't get fined. It may have some post-game stuff but there's too much repetition and bad world-building to truly get invested.

By all means, buy Warmind, you will probably have a good time. But know that all you are getting is more of the same and searching for something new will only leave you unsatisfied.

Destiny 2: Warmind is a step up from its last expansion, but still suffers feels repetitive.
