This game lets us rediscover the pleisure of enjoying ourselves plonging into a lively competition, thanks to ripetitive and easy techniques besides many different tactics, so as to keep us really concentrated, almost hypnotised. It will warm up the heart of those who are longing to find again a local multiplayer game, whose contents are undoubtfully beautiful.

What's there is good and fun, but it's the few things that aren't there that keep it from being a truly great phenomenon.

Laser League is easy to play but hard to master. Despite some online matching problem, it has great potential.

The lack of players might be its undoing, but Laser League is well worth looking into if you're a fan of arena style multiplayer titles.

Laser League isn’t a revolution for the genre, but it deserves plenty of credit for not just cynically rehashing the successes of its forebears and betting on a more inventive central gameplay loop.

Laser League is a game that can be picked up and enjoyed by everyone, but it’s a shame that it seems to have died on arrival. Finding a full game seems nigh impossible unless you round a group of friends together but selling them on the idea of a game that requires 4-6 of you to be on to get the most out of is difficult too. It’s a solid game by developers Roll7 that sadly hasn’t caught fire, and if more people were willing to check this out I think they’d be pleasantly surprised just by how enjoyable it can be.

This high stakes laser light show by no means is perfect, but it is a blast and one hell of a way to kill an evening online or locally.

In the end, Laser League's value really depends on how popular it ends up being. On release it didn't seem like an overwhelming number of people purchased or at least matchmaking is not as fast as it could be, making it a potential concern. From there, depending on how many adopt it, this could be a fighting game situation where there is a massive difference in skill between players. Despite the potential negatives, Laser League is certainly fun if you're into the metagame or just like the idea of outplaying others. While it's too soon to say where Laser League will fall, it's probably better to get in on the ground floor than spending the next couple of weeks playing catch up.

I'm looking forward to the first opportunity I get to play with some humans in the physical world – and sad that their online counterparts aren't sticking around.

Laser League is an exciting competitive title that is–cliche incoming–easy to pick up and play, yet full of enough nuance that it's tough to master.

Laser league is cool, but it is aimed at a specific audience, although it is true that it can be played offline, the game is more enjoyed locally with friends and online. The variety of stadiums and classes stands out as a very positive point, since it increases the depth of the game.
