Laser League is phenomenal. It's easy to pick up, thoroughly appealing in its style, and dangerously captivating. It builds on the team game chops that made Rocket League so successful, yet turns it into something utterly unique and tense. The minor negatives outlined above could be fixed with a patch or two, while others are specific to the PS4 hardware limitations. Those looking for the next big thing in esports or a fun party game to play with a bunch of friends – look no further!

Laser League is a masterclass of videogame design. As simple as playing with one button, but its depth is perfect for a competitive game. Roll7 has delivered one of the most addictive proposals of this generation.

Fast-paced and fun, Laser League is simple to play, yet challenging to master. It's super addictive and has all the hallmarks of a competitive multiplayer game that could well have a future in the world of eSports if the community embrace it.

Laser League should be the next big thing since Rocket League. It all really depends on the player base and how many dedicated players it will bring. There's a lot to unlock here, and while it is complex at times, the main core gameplay is as simple as can be, which is what makes it so addicting to play. I highly suggest this game to anyone that likes team-based games with a little strategy. It's fun, easy to pick up and play, and even more fun to master.

Laser League's simple concept belies a ton of hidden depth in its character classes and map-specific strategies—It's the definition of easy to learn and hard to master, without requiring mechanical godliness to succeed. While its core mode is somewhat lacking in variety and its basic gameplay might get too repetitive for some players, it already feels like a concept that's been around much longer than it has, and manages the tall order of balancing for casual and competitive gamers alike.

Laser League is special. A simple premise with deep intricacies that begs to be played over and over again, it deserves a lot of recognition. From the vibrant colours to the high octane action on the pitch, Laser League never fails to be an eye-catching and remarkable gaming experience.

Laser League is fun arena-based action game where you are tasked with eliminating the opposing team with lasers. This is a great way to spend a quality couch co-op time with a group of skilled friends. Laser League looks great and plays nice, but lacks playerbase.

Laser League presents a simple but original idea done incredibly well, and I hope that its player base stays strong. With its low price point and accessible gameplay, if you're into your competitive games, then you should give this one a shot.

Laser League is a deceptively simple competitive game. The controls are incredibly straightforward, but that is offset by the sheer amount of things needed to account for at any point in the match. Laser walls and players are constantly moving around the map in various patterns and at variable speeds. There may be a limited appeal if you never plan to play online, as the progression system is tied to online play, but this is a game not to be missed by fans of competitive games. And maybe Roll7 can throw in a colorblind option in the near future? Pretty please?

Laser League is delightfully chaotic. It's easy to grasp just by looking at it, but for those who need a few pointers, there's a robust tutorial system, as well as a Playbook mode that helpfully explains the game's more nuanced elements, like the individual classes and power-ups. It's a game that gets more intense with more players, which is why 3v3 online speaks particularly well to me. But it's just as easy to set up local multiplayer, along with bots of varying skill levels.

When you find yourself in the zone, Laser League is a joy to play. Controls are as straightforward as they come and the game's rules are easy to follow, meaning anyone can pick up a pad and join in. However, the depth that comes with the various character classes, their abilities, and power ups is surprising. This is classic "easy to learn, difficult to master" territory, in other words, and whether you're playing online or offline, it can be excellent fun with a few friends. Ultimately, this is the sort of game that lives or dies on the strength of its player count, and we sincerely hope it remains healthy. Aside from the occasional bout of lag, fairly limited content, and one or two disappointing omissions, this is a unique multiplayer title that deserves your attention.
