At least one aspect of the gameplay inadvertently confirms the feeling that Blazkowicz is just a shell of a person.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is possibly the best shooter campaign available on the Nintendo Switch, with some impressive graphics. The image can be occasionally blurry, and the game definitely runs better elsewhere, but this is a great example of technical wizardry on the behalf of Panic Button, not to mention a brilliant shooter for all Nintendo Switch owners to enjoy.

Wolfenstein II on Nintendo Switch is an impressive port, as soon as you play it on portable mode and not on TV mode.

Wolfenstein II on Switch is the real deal, offering an only slightly degraded version of the bloody and memorable adventure

Some of the most fearless and idiosyncratic storytelling ever seen in a video game, married to one of the most viciously entertaining shooters of the generation.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus for Switch is another amazing port from Bethesda that manages to look pretty and works well on the Nintendo's portable console. As in the case with Doom, this is a great opportunity to play one of the best shooters anywhere, without being tied to the TV. If you prefer to play at home on a large 4K-display, it's better to buy a version for PC, PS4 PRO or Xbox One X.

Wolfenstein 2 is also on the switch a spectacle, but graphic fetishists should play the PS4 or Xbox One version because of the technical losses.

Kudos to Bethesda and the folks at Panic Button for, yet again, bringing a true AAA mainstream title onto the Switch with less compromises than I could ever have imagined. Gone are the days of Nintendo systems needing to settle for dumbed down or half-assed ports, Wolfenstein II screams quality and is an outstanding technical accomplishment. While that, in itself, would already be a great selling point it’s then the quality of the story (insane as it is), its characters, and its varied action set pieces that further set Wolfenstein II apart from its own peers. I absolutely cannot wait to see what Bethesda has in store for Switch owners next!

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is yet another solid port by the people over at Panic Button and it really is excellent what they are doing. It allows Nintendo gamers to experience these types of games which have, in truth, been missing for such a long time.

This port is, simply put, just ok. The graphic quality has been downgraded significantly in order to make the core of the experience, which is the gunplay, still smooth and enjoyable even in handheld mode. Definitely, Switch is not the best place to play Wolfenstein II but, at least, the gameplay is good enough to make killing nazis on the way a total joy.

While its graphical downgrade is hard to miss, that doesn't detract from the fact that this is the best single-player FPS experience you can have on Switch right now. The lack of a multiplayer mode (the versions on other consoles didn't have one either, so don't worry about being short-changed) still grates, but with its brilliantly-written story and intense action, not even 2017's DOOM port can stand up to B.J.'s latest war on the Reich.

Considerable compromises were made on a technical level, but Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is still one of the best shooters on the Nintendo Switch.

Panic Button studios did it again! First with DOOM's port and now with Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus on the Switch, they have managed to deliver and increidible experience for a memorable FPS into the portable console. A must to play on the Nintendo's platform.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is a fantastic Switch port courtesy of Bethesda and Panic Button which takes last year's awesome FPS and ensures it continues that legacy even when you're playing it on the move. Another great addition to the ever-growing Nintendo library.

Its story, with few exceptions, is excellently written and performed. A reliance on long, pre-rendered cutscenes may bog down the pacing now and then, but even in those moments the story was compelling enough to keep me going. The Switch is clearly pushed to the breaking point by some of the more intense moments, but it manages to pull through with only a few, albeit substantial issues. Wolfenstein II is another strong addition to Bethesda's growing Switch library and another praiseworthy effort from Panic Button.

Panic Button brings all the nazi-punching action from the 2017 FPS to the Nintendo Switch with great results. When playing in portable mode the experience can be compromised, but in TV never ceases to amaze how great everything has been translated, from the frantic shootings to the charisma of the cast.

A good version for Nintendo Switch of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. It is true that it has taken almost a year to arrive, it is true that it is suffering a low resolution and graphics but the playable experience is still intact. A fantastic violent and frenetic shooter to enjoy anywhere thanks to Switch. And there are very few.
