I think 2K19 is totally fine. The game is huge and if you like a grind the game will be long too.

NBA with LeBron James looks promising, but it is just another year without bigger inovations and with almost same gameplay as 2K17 and'2K18.

The NBA2K games present arguably the best basketball gaming experience out there, as well as a near-perfect presentation of NBA Basketball.

I really enjoyed the time I’ve spent with NBA 2K19 and I’ll undoubtedly turn back to the game throughout the actual NBA season.

For every step in the right direction, NBA2K19's price tag keeps it from being a truly outstanding installment in the 2K series.

NBA 2K19 is still the go-to basketball simulation game out there. Its polish and refinement have only improved since last year, and it's difficult to imagine any improvements for next year. The MyCareer story has definitely improved, and so have the cut scene management and character customization. MyTeam feels like a revolving mode of new updates and content, but players who don't purchase VC may be getting the short end of the stick, since 10 pack boxes are exclusive to VC only. The game is amazing in all regards, but the constant reminder and pressure to purchase VC is wearing thin.

What changes or improvements I would probably love to see is a more flexible MyNeighborhood. It needs to start containing something that does not require microtranscations in an already “microtransacked” industry.

In terms of graphics and gameplay, NBA 2K19 is the best in the series till today. The less forced use of Microtransaction and improvements of story mode are the main reasons to go for this one but the annual release of the series doesn't really let you notice the changes.

NBA 2K19 is a fun basketball game held back by unnecessary bells and whistles alongside intrusive microtransactions. The basketball is second-to-none and the players feel and look incredible. It is a true shame the game is shackled by microtransactions which make progression a grind both for MyTeam and your player.

Microtransactions certainly won't please anyone, but if you can ignore them, NBA 2K19 offers an excellent basketball simulation, which EA couldn't surpass not even this year.

2K19's MyCareer represents some of the very worst in exploitative, money-hungry design in all of video games.

If you're new to the series or would just like to have a really good basketball game to dip in and out of over the year NBA 2K19 is a solid choice, but if 2K18 frustrated you with its microtransactions and you don't want to grind or pay to be competitive with your own player then not much has changed from that base model.

NBA 2K19 greatly improves upon its predecessor with refined core mechanics, stunning graphics, and a plethora of solid game modes that offer nearly endless replayability.

NBA 2k19 is without a doubt still the king of the court. Refined gameplay, Great UI and high replay value have kept the game's position high, but microtransactions, bad servers and 2K's wrong policys have threatened this position

No one can make a basketball game better than 2k and This year with NBA 2K19, 2k proved it once more. Although microtransactions and some technical problems prevent NBA 2019 from becoming a legend, but it's still one of the best sport games of this generation and one of the best basketball game of all time.

NBA 2K19 is again a top sports game as an all-round upgrade from 2K18. But microtransactions and Pay2Win are annoying.

Make no bones about it, I think NBA 2K19 is a force to be reckoned with. It’s the same core NBA 2K that we know and love, and the small tweaks continue to make it a standout. Unfortunately, much of that good work is undone by overbearing promotion of microtransactions, and keep NBA 2K19 from a real slam dunk.

Whatever viewpoint you're coming from, NBA 2K19 is both slightly better and a bit more competent than its predecessor, but there are still issues that need to be addressed. It is still clearly designed so there is an underlying temptation to invest in some VC just to get to the good bits, instead of spending days, weeks, months slowly building up your player or your team. That said, whatever score it's given really won't matter since the NBA 2K series will remain dominant when the competition isn't as strong as it could be. While NBA 2K19 is competent it has also, for me at least, continued down the road of not feeling as fun or exciting as previous NBA 2K titles. This year, the feeling isn't so much of outcry as it is fatigue at having seen the gradual changes take place over the last several years.

NBA 2K19 is the absolute best NBA simulation experience, with numerous refinements and improvements over previous years. I think there was a missed opportunity of adding the tutorials for newcomers located in 2KU into the MyCareer game mode, which puts you into the action without explaining any of the intricacies of the mechanics. The Neighborhood online hub experience has been improved, yielding more chances to earn VC, as well as hosting numerous events. The servers are another story, however, as the game will frequently not connect or hang while trying to synchronize data without a proper error message. At some point, the heavy reliance (although toned down) on microtransactions needs to be removed from the game entirely.
