Imaginative puzzles, intuitive solo/co-op gameplay, an emotional story, and stunning visuals, Pode has it all! I imagined I would have completed the game within an hour two, yet almost five hours later and I was just reaching the end, and that’s without collecting everything. Some of the puzzles are quite tricky, and one or two didn’t really make sense to me as it was a new mechanic it hadn’t explained before, but every puzzle is solvable if you put your mind to it. I also loved the fact that the game is clearly meant for cooperative play, yet it works flawlessly if you’re playing it on your own as well. I’m incredibly excited that Pode made its way to the PlayStation 4 as it means more people will now get a chance to try it out and experience the creativity and magnificence of this amazing title.

Pode is a fun and relaxing puzzle game that starts out simple and becomes more complex as the game progresses and you gain new abilities.  While the game is meant for co-op play, it plays just as well single-player, though you will have to constantly swap between Glo and Bulder.  Having a second player can also help with solving puzzles as you have a second person helping you out, but alone or with a friend, with its enjoyable art style and relaxing atmosphere, Pode is a puzzle game worth checking out.

The soundtrack to Pode is absolutely atmospheric, soothing and amazing. The design of the character of the rock and the star is also very cute and sweet.

Pode takes the cooperative experience from Snipperclips and puts it into 3d environments, yet is warmer and even cuter. The Norwegian-influenced art direction is pleasant to see come to life via pop-up book aesthetic. The puzzles are creative and remain a suitable challenge for all players. There is no negativity to be found in the game and the wonderful audiovisual aspect drives that notion home. Good vibes all around.

Pode is a heartwarming experience about friendship and working together, and it’s best enjoyed with a friend. It can be a little tricky at times, but overall it’s fairly smooth and enjoyable.

While Pode can be frustrating in it's lack of communication it is a rather beautiful thing when experienced with others.

With its subtle, relaxing and appropriate musical score, gloriously soft visuals and a simple yet emotional story, Pode succeeds in offering a generous and humble cooperative yet challenging 8-10 hours of content that will shine brightly - especially in among the assortment of fast-paced and frantic multiplayer games that we have right now on the eShop.

Henchman & Goon have crafted a fine puzzle, platformer in Pode. We loved the characters of Glo and Bulder and despite some frustrating puzzles and a disagreeable camera, we always felt motivated to push through to see them to the end of their journey

Pode is a clever co-operative puzzle-platformer whose spotlight on both camaraderie and companionship makes for one of the more genuinely moving experiences I’ve had on Switch.

Pode is a wonderful and at times tricky puzzle game which really gets you thinking. My wife and I loved playing through all of the chambers however it only took us around 6 hours to complete. Ok, there are collectables along the way in the form of fireflies that require one of the characters to use their ability to explode a plant pod or rock in order to release them, however as far as the main story goes, it is quite short.

Puzzle games can either be hit or miss. Either they are easy or way too hard, and quite a few barely hit the middle. With Pode I believe a perfect balance was hit, and while I was afraid of what was coming up, I felt like the game did it great. How was it able to manage that? Read and find out.

Pode does a good job of being adorable, puzzling in all the right ways, and fun, all in the span of a few hours and while it’s worth mentioning the game seems a tad too short, the consistent pacing throughout makes it feel like a bit of a longer journey than it actually is.

This product is perfect for those looking for a videogame marked by these words: calm, cooperation and colours. A puzzle game with platform dynamics that will not disappoint fans of this genre. Sure, the developers could have found a better balance for the difficulty curve, as well as the complexity of some of the puzzles is not really challenging once you learn the technique to use. Despite of this, Pode is still a really good game.
