Pode Reviews
There's something undeniably charming about Pode. Its adorable characters, meaningful story, lovely art, relaxing music, and satisfactory puzzling gameplay make it worth a look, especially for co-op enthusiasts.
Pode is not a bad game, by any means. It’s just very, very average, and that’s likely the most damning thing you could say about it.
Pode is a puzzle platformer with heart, soul and style. However, struggles with the fundamentals of the genre hold it back from matching the expectations set by its stellar first impression.
Pode is a visually stunning take on the co-op puzzle genre, but misses the mark when it comes to pacing and execution.
The minimalist art design is beautiful, and its characters are wonderfully expressive and emotive despite their simplicity. There's an elegance to Pode, that belies its imperfect platforming and frequent frustrations.

Pode offers some enjoyable puzzles solved with unique cooperative gameplay in a journey that's as heartwarming as it is challenging.
Pode is a not a bad cooperative adventure game. It's nice to play it with a friend in front of one screen, or alone, solving several puzzles during a day. If you are a fan of the genre, then it's worth a try. If no, well, then play something different.

Sometimes opposites attract, and Pode's contrasting characters are a great example of that, combining to overcome the game's environmental puzzles. While it's a little rough around the edges, Pode is a charming puzzle game whether you play it alone or grab a friend to play alongside you.
Pode is a solid cooperative experience but its frustrating aspects unfortunately hold it back from being a great game.
Overall, if you’ve been searching for a terrific game to play with a non-gaming partner Pode may be among the best options on the system. For people who aren’t hardcore gamers the more casual pace will probably be welcome and as long as one person has at least moderate gaming skills the ability to shift control back and forth will come in handy. Certainly aesthetically it’s delightful, the sense of discovery is a consistent joy, and the generally fair but challenging puzzles have some air of originality to them that’s welcome. Pode is a wonderful game for couples and general puzzle fans alike.
Pode excels as a gentle, adorable co-op puzzler with a lot of heart, just make sure you have someone to play with
This product is perfect for those looking for a videogame marked by these words: calm, cooperation and colours. A puzzle game with platform dynamics that will not disappoint fans of this genre. Sure, the developers could have found a better balance for the difficulty curve, as well as the complexity of some of the puzzles is not really challenging once you learn the technique to use. Despite of this, Pode is still a really good game.

Pode does a good job of being adorable, puzzling in all the right ways, and fun, all in the span of a few hours and while it’s worth mentioning the game seems a tad too short, the consistent pacing throughout makes it feel like a bit of a longer journey than it actually is.
Puzzle games can either be hit or miss. Either they are easy or way too hard, and quite a few barely hit the middle. With Pode I believe a perfect balance was hit, and while I was afraid of what was coming up, I felt like the game did it great. How was it able to manage that? Read and find out.
Pode is a wonderful and at times tricky puzzle game which really gets you thinking. My wife and I loved playing through all of the chambers however it only took us around 6 hours to complete. Ok, there are collectables along the way in the form of fireflies that require one of the characters to use their ability to explode a plant pod or rock in order to release them, however as far as the main story goes, it is quite short.
Pode is a clever co-operative puzzle-platformer whose spotlight on both camaraderie and companionship makes for one of the more genuinely moving experiences I’ve had on Switch.
Pode is a beautiful short story about friendship that will entertain both younger and older players with a unique art direction and balanced puzzles.

Henchman & Goon have crafted a fine puzzle, platformer in Pode. We loved the characters of Glo and Bulder and despite some frustrating puzzles and a disagreeable camera, we always felt motivated to push through to see them to the end of their journey
Some flawed puzzles don't stop this beautiful, adorable platformer from being well worth your time.
