MUSYNX is a solid, straightforward rhythm game that's super fun to play with tons of songs, great music, and has awesome visuals with minimal flaws overall.
MUSYNX is a solid rhythm-action title for the Switch. The traditional genre gameplay appeals well to casual and hardcore fans. Though somewhat flawed, MUSYNX is a polished product that feels satisfying and addictive.
Overall, if you’re down for some very challenging play and an absolute avalanche of tracks to play through MUSYNX is a fair choice. It’s greatest strength is going a more traditional route and nailing the implementation, but if you’re looking for something a little different it may disappoint. Regardless, it is a well-implemented and polished title that will offer hours of enjoyment to music and rhythm game lovers.
If you are into basic music/rhythm games of the Guitar Hero ilk, this is an easy recommendation, especially if you’re keen on K-POP, J-POP and/or trance music. Those expecting more of a Western-tinged set list or craving more in-depth gameplay may want to give this a second thought however.
Musynx shamelessly copies the formula of hitting falling notes to create a song as you go, but that's hardly a bad thing, even if it lacks innovation and the style of its predecessors. What it lacks in creativity, it makes up for with the breadth and depth of a massive, unprecedentedly varied soundtrack.
MUSYNX is a quirky music game with oodles of content. It could have benefited from more thought put into the controls and scoring, and the corny presentation and soundtrack won’t appeal to everyone, but diehard rhythm fans will lap this up.
It’s hard to ignore the flaws and genericness that is present in MUSYNX. While it’s an average rhythm game to pickup on the Nintendo Switch if you’re looking for something to mindlessly pass the time, the average gamer is not going to find any enjoyment out of this whatsoever.
MUSYNX is a must buy game for all the music rhythm fans out there. The gameplay is fun and controls work perfectly, allowing you to get in the zone as you enjoy the dozens of available songs for the game. A little bit of practice goes a long way for this one, as you start to work your way up the difficulty list until you can master all songs in 6K Mode.
Musynx is as no-frills as rhythm games get. That's not necessarily a criticism, because the music - the most important feature of the genre - is a stand-out delight. I will play this one a lot more than I play DJ Max or Superbeat Xonic, for example. And yet, while the promise of plenty of DLC music to come is exciting, Musynx also lets itself down by being far too easy, and limited in features, to hit those high notes as one of the best examples of the genre.
MUSYNX is a great rhythm game with a familiar gameplay and a big selection of great songs. Its main weakness is the lack of options, but the current game is a solid foundation to something that can be incredible in the future.

undefined.With all that said, there isn't much to negatively impact my enjoyment of MUSYNX. The rough edges stand out mostly because the game can otherwise become an engrossing way to evaporate free time. Mileage may vary based on your ability to enjoy the game's music, but with its highly customizable difficulty and excellent representation of the tracks as note patterns, this game will welcome in anyone who can find themselves lost in the music.
MUSYNX is an excellent entry point for anyone looking to get into rhythm games, but the difficulty can ramp up early on, despite the fine-tuning and customisable controls that are available. With over 90 tracks here, it certainly isn't light on content, but there really needs to be improvements made to the presentation to make it a little bit more accessible.
Chinese developer I-Inferno took well-known rhythmic gameplay and delivered nice game which does not stand out in any way.

Barebones in organisation and structure but absolutely joyous in its presentation, Musynx is pure rhythm game fun. Excellent, upbeat music that focuses on lesser-exported areas of Asian pop, charming, cleverly creative visuals, and rock-solid gameplay in both button and touch modes all come together in a lovely, personality-filled package. If you like a strong sense of progression in your music games, Musynx's straightforward setlist approach will leave you wanting; but if the idea of booting up into a free-play menu of 90+ songs and working to beat your personal bests sounds like your idea of a good time, you'll be in rhythm heaven here.
If all you're looking for is a pure rhythm game to take on the go, Musynx fits the bill nicely. It's a pure arcade experience without any visual trappings and without the need to spend a few quarters every time you want to play another round of songs.
Musynx is a solid addition to music games on the Switch, with some infectious songs and slick presentation. While limited in other aspects and not too beginner-friendly, this is a game that veterans and those wishing to improve their music game library should try.
