Another Data East classic (from 1991) that arrives to Nintendo Switch with a pixel perfect port, fun to play and easy to share, even it it feels short (15-20 minutes to complete). A good port, even if we miss more options and extras in the emulation (like the ability to play with the arcade DIP switches).

Caveman Ninja, although difficult at times, has a lot going for it. Whether you have fond memories of pumping quarters into an arcade box or playing one of its console ports – even if you have no previous awareness of the game – it certainly is fun. Using the save ability and unlimited continues also helps dwindle some of the difficulty.

Johnny Turbo's Arcade Joe and Mac Caveman Ninja is a solid arcade port of a classic 2D arcade action platformer that you should definitely check out. The game plays and feels just like it did back when I played it in the arcade, and I'm sure you're going to have a lot of fun playing it. Each run is going to take you around 30 minutes, just like back in the day, and is twice as fun when playing with a friend.

Joe and Mac may not be as famous as Master Higgins but their debut game Caveman Ninja remains a worthy relic from the Stone Age.

Overall, a pretty solid rerelease, but like with prior JTA games, the addition of dip switch options would have made this a lot better
