Miles & Kilo is a massively improved sequel that mixes great platforming mechanics and tough but fair difficulty in the package. It's a cheap title that you should definitely pick up if you have an hankering for fun, lighthearted platformers. Grab your canine friend and get ready for a howling good time!

Miles & Kilo is another faux retro platforming romp landing on the Switch that adds yet another valuable choice for players looking to get their fix of the genre. It manages to be an equal parts casual and hardcore platform experience while incrementing on the already abundant charming appeal of the previous game with excellent humour.

Miles & Kilo is a simple game at heart which takes a very basic game design and innovates on the genre by implementing its own little flavor. Its like Super Mario Bros., but with a dog and it happens to be more challenging than the inspiration. It's certainly a must buy, even if you haven't played it before.

As a throwback to 8-bit platformers, Miles & Kilo works better than most. It also works as a legitimate reason to fire up your old Nintendo 3DS and remember how much fun action/arcade games were—and how cool that 3D effect was—the first time you played it.

If you're looking for a fun, colorful and challenging minimalist platformer, then you should check out Miles & Kilo. The option to play it as a platformer instead of as an auto-runner right from the start is a welcome addition, but if you're a big fan of the auto-runner genre, then you can also go into the options menu and trigger that choice!

Miles and Kilo is a cute and charming platformer that is available right now on the Nintendo switch and if you are a big platformer fan, then look no further than Miles and Kilo, you have the option of playing in standard mode taking full control of Miles or you can chose auto run in the settings menu and concentrate on the platforming if you have good reflexes because you will need it. Auto Run is far more challenging. Good luck and enjoy.

I enjoyed my time with Miles & Kilo and it gave me flashbacks to playing Adventure Island as a kid.

In particular at its very budget-friendly price, Miles & Kilo is a wonderful and rewarding bite of intense and satisfying platforming fun. It makes you work to pass each level, you’ll generally be able to figure out how to be successful after a few tries, and the control is spot-on so when you fail you never feel like you have anyone to blame but yourself. The addition of the Kilo segments and the pretty well constant shifts in play style keep it from getting bland and overall I’d say its length feels perfect and satisfying. An absolute must-have for playforming fans!

Miles & Kilo is a simple platformer in which Miles and his dog - Kilo - traverse the levels. Completing the game should take about an hour, but mastering all the levels will take days. It gets tedious and repetitive, but isn't it the case with every game of this genre?
