Two Crude is one of the funniest grab-'em-ups ever made and 27 years later nothing has diluted the insane '90s colourful vibe in this package. Data East once more succeeded in adapting popular culture into a video game that ends up being more than the mere sum of its parts. Grab a friend and have no fear plunging into a fun-filled half an hour of pure arcade entertainment. Just make sure it looks like an accident every time you toss your partner around.

Two Crude Dudes is a fun and short arcade-perfect port of a game that I definitely got a chance to play in a real arcade way back in the day, so I was definitely up for taking the game for a spin. Due to its arcade nature, the game does feature some cheap enemies that will try to overwhelm you as bigger and more powerful enemies close in on you. The good news is that after most attacks you will have a short invincibility window which you can use to quickly grab an enemy or an item to throw him/it against the rest of the group, so you won't end up dying that much if you're careful and make the most out of that window.

Now Two Crude isn't a great game by any stretch, but it just makes sense that it's now on the Nintendo Switch with its predecessor. It does improve on Bad Dudes in a few ways.

It may not be the best arcade beat 'em up but Two Crude Dudes provides some fun times, especially during co-op multiplayer.

Two Crude is a pretty average brawler. Not a bad one by any means, since the stages are fun and throwing signs, tanks and enemies is pretty cool, but the novelty wears off quickly once you beat the game, and playing in co-op is really the only way you’ll may be able to get more enjoyment out of it.
