Mugsters takes some time to get going, but once it does, it is a gameplay experience that is immensely fun and rewarding. There may be some faults with the presentation, but overall, it was an enjoyable experience.

The added co-op adds to the value of the game, but the game’s frustrations hamper re-playability. The stripped down nature of the game is part its charm, but can work against it. Sometimes Mugsters’ sandbox just feels a little shallow.

Mugsters is a pretty interesting title, designed to help each player overcome each mission in their own way. An experience as crazy as it is fun, ideal for quick games both alone and in company.
