The Council - Episode 3: Ripples Reviews
The Council: Episode 3:- Ripples is another great episode in the thrilling narrative adventure game from Big Bad Wolf. Unlike episodes 1 and 2, episode 3 focuses more on your purpose on the island and it begins to show you the various characters true intentions and motives. Ripples may not be a deep as the previous two episodes, but don’t let that put you off if you’ve liked the game so far. What it lacks in puzzles, it makes up in branching dialogues and interactions. One thing to take note of is the fact that this episode has a number of bugs and issues, as of writing this review.
The Council – Episode 3: Ripples continues the tale of Louis as he attempts to figure out what happened to his mother and the enigma that is Lord Mortimer. Unlike Hide and Sneak, Ripples is a constant source of exciting moments and tense confrontations between political juggernauts. The episode soars until the final act then falls short.
The good news is the story is finally going in the right direction, despite the poor and abrupt ending. The bad news is that Big Bad Wolf have some serious problems to overcome for the last two episodes. If lines are being skipped and the subtitles are unreliable, how can they tell a story? And even then, if decisions are being ignored, what even is the point? That completely wipes away the illusion that every action has a consequence. Ripples has inadvertently exposed The Council at a core level and leaves us deeply concerned for its future.
The Council Episode 3: Ripples improves on the prior entry with a focus on political intrigue and a possible twist towards the supernatural.
Overall The Council, Episode 3: Ripples is a great continuation to an already great series. With plenty of directions to go and ways to customize your skills, there’s more than one way to go through this series and you’ll need in order to see all variations of paths that you could have taken up to this point as we now wait for the next episode before finally being able to dive into the finale.
The Council draws on it's interesting story, events and it's puzzles to encourage players to continue playing. the second and third episodes both bring a memorable experience for the audience. in these episodes some of the questions that were left unanswered were answered and new questions rose. but the story isn't finished yet and we have to wait for the further episodes.

After being soured by the last episode, Episode 3 of The Council, Ripples, does a decent job at getting us excited for the game again. Colour us cautiously optimistic for the rest of the series.
The third episode of The Council is one of the least compelling of the series so far. The puzzles are not logical and the amount of running around you have to do is quite tedious.

A few steps above decent, and a few steps below very good, Episode 3: Ripples is another chapter of The Council that is enjoyable, but at the same time a bit disappointing, as it doesn't seem to know what its strengths are. On the bright side, the story finally decides to move a bit faster, making players eager for the next one in line.
With all that said though, The Council: Episode 3 – Ripples offers another fascinating look into this alternative history 18th century.
Ripples can be a divisive episode for some. The big reveal doesn't seem so grand, and the switch from somewhat realistic to something more fantastic can be jarring. Some of the events show that the game isn't playing around when it comes to having choices matter, and there is some intrigue in regards to where things will go next. Let's hope the game performance doesn't regress further.
The Council – Episode 3: Ripples delivers the best narrative to the game until now and the episode flows kind of rapidly. The technical problems keep on happening on the third episode, but they don't mess the fun within it. The ending lets the player with high expectations for the closure of the story.

Unfortunately, the episode is plagued with glitches - one that can't be solved except for reloading the game - coupled with the choppy graphics and popping audio portions of the game that ruins what is otherwise the best story-driven episode of The Council yet.
It can't be said enough that Ripples is fantastic for its story and feels more like a penultimate episode for how well it is structured and executed.
Ripples doesn't quite hit the heights of The Council's first episode, but it's worlds better than the second one thanks to the simple act of actually moving the plot forward.
Ripples again showcases the excellent storytelling and choice-driven gameplay that has made The Council such an intriguing experience thus far
A potentially interesting entry marred by technical issues and stale environments.
The Council - Episode 3: Ripples finally provides players with the answers they desire, but at the same time, proposes all new questions. Things are not as simple as I thought they would be, and an unseen power comes to light that genuinely has me excited for the remaining two episodes. The technical issues are such a drag, and by this point, I was hoping at least some of them would be resolved, but it appears like things are getting worse.
Major plot revelations and tense confrontations highlight what may be the most controversial episode of The Council yet.
This third episode of The Council contains a large amount of technical issues, among which the many and tedious loading times, making the exploration less pleasant than it should be. Despite all this, the plot is finally moving on and all the choices made by the player seem to have a real impact on the story as a whole.
