Mega Man X Legacy Collection Reviews
Its simple yet stylish art and popping soundtrack still work so well. This is definitely a collection worth owning.
Whether you’re a series veteran or a complete newbie, you won’t regret picking up Volume One of the Mega Man X Legacy Collection. Some of the best platformers of all time are collected and presented in their best form, and they’re complimented nicely by a hefty amount of bonus content.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection is a fantastic collection with an excellent set of games. The games have highly addicting gameplay and catchy music and are timeless classics.
The Mega Man X series has always held a fond place in my heart. To be able to play all eight anytime, anywhere on Nintendo Switch is a dream come true.
An excellent collection held back with a number of flaws in the collection itself. Come and play the games though, but it’s not going to be a perfect experience. Sadly.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection is a logical move by Capcom that they could have phoned in by just porting the PS2 collection and calling it a day. Instead they added Rookie Hunter Mode, X Challenge, and all the Extras you could ask for, all wrapped up in a competent interface to carry you between each game.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection contains the incredible origins of a series that should never be forgotten.
The first Mega Man X Collection is a nice set of titles that comes with some pretty nice extras. All four games are too similar to one another to stand out, but the platforming is strong enough that it can provide a fun challenge for platformer enthusiasts.
So, whether or not you should buy Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 + 2 really depends on how much of a Mega Man fan you are.
The first of the two Mega Man X Legacy Collections contains four amazing masterpieces of platforming goodness. While it does not contain as many games as the original collection, the games here are all well worth your time, if not to revisit games from a bygone era, then to experience what all the fuss was about.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1+2 is a fantastic package of one of the best franchises in videogame history. The enhancements brought by it are a reason to dive back in these fantastic action-platformers that should entertain the player for hours and hours, also the addition of the challenges bring a different experience to long-time fans looking for something new.

Aside from the X Challenge mode not adding much to it, the extra contents and the games themselves makes Mega Man X Legacy Collection a valuable option for the fans of the franchise and anyone new to it.

I can't much fault the Mega Man X Legacy Collection Volume 1 for what it is. All four of these games are varying degrees of good and it's nice to have them on my Switch. I just wish it wasn't quite so sterile.
First half of Mega Man X Legacy Collection is much, much better than the second one, so if you'll buy only it, you won't miss out on anything good.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection offers four of the finest platformers ever made. They can only be described as timeless classics, especially the first entry which is one of the best platformers period. Newcomers will find this collection a great place to start thanks to the new Rookie Hunter mode, while veterans will appreciate the new challenges and bonus material on offer. If you're someone who gets even the slightest amount of enjoyment from platformers, buy this collection.
All in all, Mega Man X Legacy Collection and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 packs in a wealth of content, though not all of it holds up as well as we would've liked.
MMXLC Vol.1 & 2 were most certainly fun to play and I'm glad that I got to review them as they introduced me to the series, but the collection has some inherent problems, not to mention that the asking price is simply way too high for what you get.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1+2 provides a lot of value for players.
In many ways this is Mega Man at its finest, and outside of the fact that most of the eight games play the same, this Legacy Collection is a fine reminder of why the X series is held in such high regard.
