Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition Reviews
Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition is so complex that I think everyone will find something to like, whether it's combat or an exciting story. The best thing I can say about it is that if I'm asked what I liked about it, I can't pinpoint something. It's the complete experience and the feeling of joy that it left behind.
Divinity Original Sin II Definitive Edition is a near perfect RPG. It does everything well, from story, characters, combat, dialog and of course co-op. The refinements also make the game accessible for a much broader audience that need to play this game.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition is probably one of the best old-school RPG you can find on console, a true masterpiece. The PC's version was almost perfect, this one follows the same path. Definitive Edition adds a new tutorial, new game mode (Story Mode) and a rework of Act III for the main campaign and it's great.

We are, without a doubt, with one of the best RPG of the year that, finally, comes to us after dinner: a story that is followed with interest, not only in its cinematic scenes, but also in the hundreds of documents that we will find throughout the adventure; a combat system complex, demanding and deep at the same time satisfactory, with a thousand and one variants that will make you squeeze the brawl so as not to lose heart in the battles; an absolute freedom to face your adventure in the way you want: stealth, negotiation, violence ... you forge your own destiny in Rivellion

One of the best RPGs ever created makes it to consoles with a staggering amount of gareat new content.
Even with that said, DOS2 is an incredible game. Paying homage to the classics from a different age while at the same time surpassing them in almost every respect. Play. Now.
I can go on and on about how great Original Sin II is and honestly, I'd love to, but I think I have said what needs to be said here.
Divinity: Original Sin II is surely one of the best games to be seen on consoles this year, not only speaking of RPGs. And as I said in the introduction, FOR ME is already among the greats of the RPG. It's not easy to bring a very tactical and theoretically "slow" RPG subgenre to a wider target audience. In my opinion they have succeeded, or at least, they have done everything possible thanks to the union of a solid story and script, total freedom to face situations (even without fighting on many occasions) and a noteworthy graphic section.

It’s not an easy game to get into, but Divinity: Original Sin 2’s Definitive Edition rewards patient and dedicated players with a great deal of depth in every regard.
Fans of fantasy RPGs will absolutely love their time with Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition.
Divinity Original Sin 2 is the same great RPG that fans of the original remember, just made better.
This singular vision is perfectly at home on consoles. The experience is mirrored more or less perfectly on the controller and the addition of split-screen is a welcome one. Its characters, world and combat are a breath of fresh air in a stale genre. Though new content would not have hurt this supposed Definitive Edition, Original Sin 2 is perhaps the most compelling Role-Playing Game in a decade
Divinity Original Sin 2: Definitive Edition is a fine installment in the Divinity series and despite a few odd design decisions and the balance being completely out of whack, it's still a truly memorable and enjoyable experience.
The control system is less comfortable and the framerate not so stable, but Divinity: Original Sin 2 remains an excellent RPG also on console, with several improvements to the pure contents.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is for people that enjoy a well-written fantasy story, and one that they feel like they have a role in making. The open-ended approach gives players a lot of agency in weaving their own stories, and this is backed up through the character development and combat systems, which at all times reward creativity, and punish those that are not really paying attention. Divinity: Original Sin 2 is very much a love letter to the RPGs of yesteryear, and it's a proof of how enjoyable those games can still be.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition is a new way to play one of the absolute best RPGs in years. And whether you're diving back in on PC, or booting it up on the console for the first time, it's flexibility, personality, and charm make for an amazing adventure.
Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition manages to make an already fantastic RPG even better.
The classic RPG game is hampered by the difficulty of using of the controller and kept me from enjoying it to the extreme.
