The only slight downfall to the game is the slightly repetitive nature of the gameplay but the overall enjoyment factor far outweighs this (especially with the unpredictable nature of the game like Space Outlaws) and at the end of your gaming day, you can walk away with a big smile on your face and then you can take it to a whole new level with all the modular toys available as toy truly meets game.

An astoundingly excellent adventure game with a lot to do and a great deal of area to explore. They even take the game to the physical world and give you the option of holding the ships and weapons in your hands. Change them out to be instantly shown in the game and combine them in any way you choose. This is one of the best games to come out for the Switch yet!

Congrats to the Toronto team for creating such a fun experience, and I sincerely hope that we'll be getting additional Atlas adventures in the future.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas is a stellar achievement. Through its fun and accessible cast of characters, solidly made toys-to-life component, and beautiful graphics, Ubisoft has hit the ground running. With the addition of a healthy amount of Star Fox content, the Switch version is definitely the preferable way to go, but regardless of your system Starlink is a remarkably entertaining game, and an auspicious launch for a new gaming universe.

With its exclusive use of some substantial Star Fox content, you're getting the best version of Starlink: Battle for Atlas on Nintendo Switch. And with a more accessible and ultimately enjoyable version of No Man's Sky's gameplay mechanics and Mass Effect's original vision, you're getting one of the best dogfighting/space exploration games you can buy outside of Elite: Dangerous. Its gameplay loop does run out of steam after a while thanks to the required grind, but with a surprisingly ungreedy approach to content access and toys-to-life integration, Starlink really could be the spark that reignites the genre's renaissance.

There's no other title with quite the same approach as Starlink has taken and it's easily the best integration of toys to life that has been done so far.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas is an entertaining blend of planet-hopping adventure and spaceship customization built on the back of the dormant toys-to-life genre. The level of care and detail put into making this unique slice of space isn't burdened by somewhat repetitive gameplay and exploitative systems.

While directed at kids, Starlink is to be enjoyed by everyone. Yes it is pricy but other than that it is an amazing adventure. The best place for the game is on Switch thanks to the Star Fox extra's

Starlink: Battle for Atlas is Ubisoft's new attempt to make a galactic war-type game and it's fun, entertaining and joyful. Also the toy-to-life experience is something new and unique. Though the missions can become repetitive at times, but the level design and addictive gameplay make up for it. In the end, The whole package is a beautiful and fun game that absolutely worth your time and money. So be ready and go for saving Atlas with Ubisoft's Spaceship!

Starlink: Battle for Atlas is a fun game that, bluntly, delivers intense space battles and exploration of fun and curious worlds. Its difficulty could be a little higher and the variety of villains more diverse, but this is not a demerit at all.

Some of the best content is in fact free, meaning that even if you're done spending money on Starlink, it is worth taking the time to revisit it for this update. If you're hankering for more Star Fox adventures (no pun intended), then take that extra step and call in the team. Ultimately, it serves as an unexpected but welcome send off to a game that sadly ended too soon. For the faithful, attach that giant plastic Arwing to your Joy-Con one last time, and head back into Atlas.

Starlink Battle for Atlas is a cool game which adults and younger gamers can enjoy in equal measure. The toy aspect is awesome but not compulsory which is plus point – especially given the cost of extra parts. The core game whilst repetitive in some respects, has enough charms to keep players entertained for many hours. The game has seen a lot of love obviously making for a wonderful space shooter. Great visuals, excellent designs and unrestrained freedom makes for a welcome game. The core target audience should lap this up especially if toys come as part of the deal.

As an open-world game, Starlink lacks of creation, which probably reminds you some former Ubisoft games. But still, it has great combat experience, and allows you to explore different planets with your starship. So if you are a fan of space theme, Starlink is obviously a good choice for you.

Starlink is a well-done mixture between an arcadeshooter and an openworld game with focus on exploration, which delivers players a good package combined together with the classic formula of Ubisoft, a good (but expensive) toys-to-life product line and the possibility to complete the game without any additional payments. Both younger and grown-up fans of the genre should give the new franchise a try.

A great space opera for kids, which includes fast combat, deep exploration and some strategic elements. The use of toys and split screen multiplayer fits perfectly in the game. Switch version adds Starfox (with his own campaign, starship and allies).
