Capcom might just have outdone themselves with "Devil May Cry 5", because DMC5 is with no doubt one of the best action games that I've ever played.

Devil May Cry 5 is an amazing game. It is a must-own for fans of the hack-and-slash genre. Chaining combos feel fresh and there’s always the motivation to do better. Nothing gives you an adrenaline rush quite like killing demons with heavy metal in the background. And for that, this game is highly recommended by us.

Devil May Cry 5 is simply one of the best pure action games of all time, and is easily in contention for Game of the Year. It channels the feel of an old-school PS2 game without ever feeling dated or weaker for it. The depths of moves on offer, the fluidity with which it can all be chained together and joys of chasing the elusive SSS sparked the same excitement in me that Devil May Cry 3 did all those years ago. Except Devil May Cry 5 is better. It is truly, truly fantastic.

What a hell of a game! It does not just look damn good, it also plays that way! The fights are fast and easy to learn and we always get new weapons or skills. Nero, V and Dante all play completely different and occasionally you even have the choice of which characters you like to play, at these levels then this wannabe multiplayer is used, the idea is nice, but it would not have been necessary since the others Usually, players only see from a distance and you are busy with demons, or with the camera, especially with the small jump'n'run inserts, the camera is weakening. If you then go through the about 10 hour campaign, you unlock a new level of difficulty, can play the levels that you have previously played with another character, again to see what happened there and that's basically. Story is okay, but let's face it, fighting is just so cool that everything else becomes trivial.

Now that the franchise is back on stable ground both from a story and mechanics perspective, it’s exciting to see where Capcom will take this series next.

This new chapter of Devil May Cry saga made by Capcom, is perfect under every aspect. The gameplay is satisfying, wild, extreme and never boring. The sounds effects are incredible and enhance the action, giving to the player an adrenalin flowing. The character design is absolutely perfect, not only for the variety of enemies and locations, but also for how Nero, Dant and V are characterised. Devil May Cry 5 is absolutely stunning, suggested both to the fans of the brand and to all the players who likes "hack'n slash" video games, even if they've never played a Devil May Cry game. Just few flaws push this game one step away from a perfect score.

In a slew of releases from Capcom for many of their well-loved series, Devil May Cry 5 continues the trend as a solid entry within the DMC mythos. By expanding upon the established combat systems and making sure the characters are looking slick and stylish while hacking through legions of demonic forces, the developers chose to spend their time tightening up what they do best, and it shows. Incredible combo depth, distinct character styles, and plethora or difficulties are sure to make for one hell of a ride.

Capcom is back with a vengeance, ready to reclaim portions of the gaming industry for themselves. If their recent games are anything to go off of, my excitement levels are through the roof for whatever new project they’re cooking up next.

Mechanically speaking, Devil May Cry 5 is the best game the saga has seen, for now. Unfortunately, the Art Direction - even though the game looks great - does not fit right with the game's narrative tone. DMC5 does not evolve the series forward, compared to its predecessors, but it does boast a fluid and frantic combat, that combined with some new weapons at your disposal, make this the best gameplay Dante and Nero have yet to offer, which end up overshadowing the repetitive V in the process.

Devil May Cry 5 is a game you could talk about a very long time, but all you need to know is that it's one of the best games of 2019 so far and you shouldn't miss it. This is how a comeback of a legend should look like.

Devil May Cry 5 delivers exactly what is expected from this franchise since it debuted back 2001, with over the top action and ridiculous boss fights. This latest installment doesn't diverge from the series' formula and instead builds or slightly modify the mechanics that series veterans know and love while also giving newcomers some easier options. Devil May Cry 5 is a rocking good time that will keep everyone coming back for another round of demon hunting.

In an interview, Hideaki Itsuno said that he wanted to “make an action game in which the player can decide how to beat an enemy, and be able to take advantage of each character’s strengths to do it”. It’s that simple, and you could be playing it forever.
