Creed: Rise to Glory – Championship Edition has its faults, but it definitely has its place in every PSVR2 library. As one of the few melee based games, with high focus on cardio and fitness, it’s a great way to take advantage of the unique immersive gameplay aspects that can only be done in VR. Pick it up and play the campaign mode, then continue picking it up to work out!

A tactical, physically demanding boxing game that works nicely in VR, but whose campaign you can comfortably see off in under two hours.

Creed: Rise to Glory Championship Edition delivers a potent VR punch, plunging players into Rocky's spin-off universe. Despite a lightweight campaign, its stunning visuals, intuitive controls, and exhilarating multiplayer make it a true VR boxing champion

Creed: Rise to Glory - Championship Edition overhauls a pretty good PSVR arcade boxing game and transforms it into a proper test of endurance and skill. There's still some technical hiccups that stop it short of going a full 12 rounds, but this game will give you one hell of a workout and a clear goal.

As it turns out, Creed: Rise to Glory – Championship Edition is a killer VR fitness app disguised as a fun boxing game. If you're looking for a sparring partner for some simple boxing fun, to blow off some steam in the ring, or even for a decent cardio workout, then look no further.

With a punch of extra content, Creed Rise to Glory: Championship Edition builds upon its predecessor in all the right ways, improving on the controls, visuals, and spread of content. It’s just a shame that the short, repetitive campaigns, omission of any headset haptics, and occasional tracking issues still leave it short of a knockout blow.

Creed: Rise to Glory – Championship Edition is the best boxing VR game to date. The new controllers allow you to freely move around the ring and pick out your shot. This increases the immersion to create some incredible moments. Unfortunately, the new campaign follows the same loop of the original and doesn’t offer anything new. However, the actual in ring action is a knockout combo.

Whether you want to get a good sweat on, or if you want to relive the major beats of the Creed films, Creed: Rise to Glory - Championship Edition provides an excellent boxing experience that is sure to get your pulse racing. It'd be nice if the game was longer, but there's always multiplayer.

Creed: Rise to Glory offers up a decent enough experience for players wanting to step into the shoes of a professional boxer, but the gossamer thin narrative, imprecise controls and tracking issues all work against the game reaching its true potential.

If you’re looking for a truly immersive and realistic boxing game then Creed: Rise to Glory in VR is calling your name! Most First-Person VR games these days have nice controls with dual controller support and physics which work like they do irl, but Creed goes one step further and makes every punch you throw feel real based on the angle, speed, and impact they all make in real life with the air. There was an issue with a ‘HammerFist’ punch being used in the Multiplayer mode, this has since been fixed in PvP matches, so the MP is fair and based solely on your skills you gain within training and in the ring in the main story mode.

As close to the real thing you are going to get without getting in danger, Creed: Rise to Glory is a bonafide boxing experience in immersive VR.

Creed: Rise to Glory is nearly a perfect VR boxing experience and more than worth your time if you're looking for a new way to have fun in VR and get a solid workout in at the same time. The story and atmosphere manage to make it feel like you're actively participating in a true underdog story that does justice to the source material while doing new and interesting things in VR.

By taking a fun and exhilarating boxing framework and painting it with the glorious trappings of the Creed/Rocky franchise, Servios has delivered a game that is simply magical. Sure, the campaign is a little short and the hit detection might feel a bit wonky, but in the heat of the moment none of that matters. Whether fighting AI opponents or engaging in the more challenging fights against real-life players, you will find yourself bouncing in place, floating and stinging with the best of them. This is a game that will leave you sweaty and proud. How many other games can say that?

As someone that loves boxing as a workout, this is an interesting title to have in my collection, but if you're looking to feel like Adonis Creed, you'll be a bit disappointed. This VR game lands some good punches, but it is far from achieving a knockout.

Creed: Rise to Glory's boxing manages to hold the game together, and exceeds what I'd expect from a licensed VR game. This is well worth playing for anyone looking to punch a face or two in VR.

CREED: Rise to Glory can be entertaining, but the PS Move's inability to track things properly makes it hard to call this a good game. A thin narrative and smattering of other shortcomings detract from the overall experience, but it's not a disaster by any stretch – just not worth its full $24.99 price point.

At its price point, it's well worth it and swinging back into the campaign on a higher difficulty as I have, it'll not only keep you practising your punches for some time, but could be a workout for the foreseeable future. Just make sure you stretch before playing and have water at the ready. Don't get dehydrated kids!

Creed: Rise to Glory is an exhausting, sweaty, thrilling brawler title. It requires observation, reaction, and no small bit of stamina, as you read your opponent, dodge blows, create openings, and swing your way to victory. The story mode may be a little short and fragmented, but the PvP mode, allowing you to step into the ring with real people, more than makes up for it. It's brutal, it's highly responsive, making it the best VR boxing title, and one of the most addictive VR experiences I've encountered thus far.
