WWE 2K19 Reviews
WWE 2K19 maxes out all of the incumbent concepts from recent games in the franchise, and this is a solid and more polished release than we've seen from some recent versions. You'll likely have fun with the game and all of its layers. However, there is potential for true greatness with this series, but the WWE and the development team have to be willing to take some chances.
WWE 2K19 is a solid step up from last year's title. It offers a bit more in terms of content, and a deeper MyPlayer mode. I still wish they would ease up on the control scheme complication a bit, maybe shifting back to an easier control scheme that focuses on fun, rather than trying to make the wrestling experience a challenge. Wrestling is a fun sport to watch, so controlling it should be equally as fun. Definitely a solid release overall, though, so you won't be disappointed.
WWE wrestling after proven recipe, that this time feels surprisingly fresh.

WWE 2K19 is the best wrestling game in recent years
Under this luchador mask lies a familiar game with a lot of the same old issues, but somehow there is even more fun to be had, with a new impressive look, a good bit of polish, and some features reminiscent of its younger self.
WWE 2K19 is still rough around the edges and some game modes are still in desperate need of an update, but it's the best game from 2K yet and features a lot of upgrades and fun game modes to keep you playing all the way through until WWE 2K20.
It is a massive improvement for the series, with plenty of great modes to choose from, along with so many great wrestlers past and present to wrestle with. It finally feels like things are looking up for WWE 2K.
Taking advantage of the great leap of quality with 2K18, WWE 2K19 presents the largest offer of game modes to have us stuck to the virtual ring another year.

The culmination of four years' hard work, WWE 2K19 is like Daniel Bryan's initial run in the WWE: four years of ups, downs, triumphs, failures, criticism, praise. But one thing truly stands out, and that is the hard work that it took to get to this point. WWE 2K19 is the best WWE game since SmackDown vs. Raw 2007. The necessary changes to gameplay that were made this year truly help this game to stand out the way it was supposed to. MyCAREER is now a complete mode, and WWE Universe is fun again. When push comes to shove, WWE 2K19 could be considered the magnum opus of the WWE 2K era of games and is indicative of what's to come in the future.
The only way 2K and the WWE will listen is if their poor excuse for a video game doesn’t sell. That way we might finally get the Stone Cold Steve Austin level game we deserve, not the Baron Corbin level game we have been getting.
While some things still need to be worked on to return WWE games to the golden age of the PS1/2 era, this is the best wrestling game that has been turned out over the last 5 years. 2K seems to have finally listened to the calls of fans and critics alike and have managed to make a successful overhaul of their series work in just a year. In closing my review of WWE 2K18 last year, I vowed I wouldn’t be trying another WWE game for a few years, but I just couldn’t help myself. And I’m glad I’ve had the opportunity to renege on my promise because I got to witness what could be the rebirth of top-tier WWE gaming.
