The story alone really does make My Memory of Us worth the purchase. It manages to toe the line between childlike innocence and emotional gravitas brilliantly, all the while providing some enjoyable enough gameplay. While some of the logic of the puzzles can either make you tilt your head or shrug with indifference at an obvious solution, I was far too engrossed in hearing these memories to care.

My Memory of Us is an emotional tale of two friends determined to never let go and become separated, ever. As you make your way through this intense story, you’ll encounter many puzzles, stealth segments, environmental obstacles, and even find lots of ‘memories’ of real-life people. This is an edutainment game done correctly – you’re working your way through a fantastical journey of love, friendship, loss, and adventure, yet it’s all symbolising the horrific real events of Poland in World War II.

My Memory of Us is a joy to play. It's a well-crafted game that is clearly made by a team equipped to tackle such a heavy subject matter. Even without directly showing any Nazi symbols, the story is heart-wrenching and manages to pay tribute to the sacrifice of those who fought against them.

While the Nazi occupation of Poland is a grim area of history to cover in a cute puzzle game, My Memory of Us respects the past and delivers a somber-yet-hopeful tale of friendship.

A pleasant story about two best friends who refuse to be separated by a great evil, My Memory of Us is brought down by some awkward controls, but remains impossibly nice throughout.

A puzzle-platformer as World War II allegory that can't settle on an appropriate tone or interesting puzzles.

My Memory of Us tries to be a great platform puzzler and a great story device, and falls just short on both counts.

My Memory of Us is at its best as a teaching tool that reminds players of the power of love over hate.

It’s safe to say Juggler Games hit their mark with My Memory of Us. I was thoroughly entertained throughout and even as a jaded adult who doesn’t like children, I was completely invested in what happened to the kids and the people around them every step of the way. It’s a bit short, taking less than five hours to finish, but even so I’d still pay the $18 asking price for it. What it may lack in replay value it makes up for in a charming, imaginative world and the struggle of two friends trying to stay together as outside forces seem destined to keep them apart.

My Memory of Us is an exciting and emotional trip through a dark period of human history. Its bittersweet story mixes well with its tense stealth-based gameplay, while clever puzzles flesh things out. Fittingly for a game about memories, we won't forget our time with Juggler Games' project for quite a while.

My Memory Of Us is a well-made game, but its approach to such a sensitive subject matter comes across as wildly ill-judged — despite Juggler Games' best intentions.

It may be a hard subject to discuss in real life, but My Memory Of Us does what it set out to do and is a game the whole family and younger children can be a part of.

Although the WWII setup is one that's been played out in a lot of games, The Memory of Us didn't feel like just a rehash of some other game. It's a simple puzzler that'll give you some fun for an afternoon or two, just not with the same depth story-wise that a game like Valiant Hearts had.

A dramatic story that narrates with tact and subtlety one of the darkest eras of modern history. An artistic finish and magnificent sound that make up a staging that already wanted some triple A titles and make up a game that will reach your heart and that has become by its own merits an indispensable in this generation.

It feels trite to put a score on a game like Memory of Us as it tells an important and poignant story that should be heard, it's just that at times the game parts get in the way of that story.

Although the gameplay of My Memory of Us might seems simple, or even trivial, I can't help but notice that this game could be an excellent device to bring the younger ones acquainted with one of the darkest pages of human history. Using smiles and touching words, My Memory of Us ends up being the best method for us to understand our past so that the mistakes of our fathers won't be repeated.

My Memory Of Us shouldn't be missed! The side scrolling adventure puzzler features enjoyable gameplay suitable for all ages. Where the game really exceeds is the beautiful and haunting retelling of the Holocaust as a robot invasion through the eyes of two children that won't let their friendship be torn apart by hate and prejudice.

Despite its annoying stealth sections, My Memory of Us is a truly touching platformer that uses beautiful artwork and clever puzzles to weave a rich narrative. It may not be perfect, but Patrick Stewart’s stellar narration is enough to forget any minor niggles.

This is a game that will stand the test of time and be one of the games that can be used as an educational opening with your child or allow a person to learn our history through another medium. Even though I had the opportunity to skip the cut scenes, I found myself definitely intrigued and engrossed in the story beautifully spoken by Sir Patrick Stewart. He absolutely was the best fit for the narrator role in this game. His voice definitely gave you the feel that you were in deed taking a trip back through the Memories of Us.
